For me it's The Earth is Online. I don't like how most novel just go with the wifey doted by hubby flow. It's just lazy writing for me. In The Earth is Online both party are equally developed. Them being together are normal after everything they went through together, not because one side pushes the relationship into the other.

Most of these recommendations are with overpowered couples. I got too tired of them tbh. Not hating on them, but it gets repetitive if there isn't any setback.
QWTFOD is the first WN that got me into reading BL and transmigration genre. It's also very light and easy to understand because each world is unique. It's a classic that never gets old and you can re-read it again and again. The Earth is Online, on the other hand, is a masterpiece. Even if you are not into BL as much as I do, you'll still enjoy the plot that revolves around mind games and conspiracies. It's basically a survival game with multiple underlying plots that converge into one great novel.

Founder of Diabolism The Earth is Online most of the stories by MHC like Superstar Aspirations, Ghosts Know What I Experienced and Rebirth of a Supermodel I prefer stories where the MC isn't an idiot and he and the ML are partners rather than one completely dominating the other. I also like A Crowd of Evil Spirits Line Up to Confess but you don't even see the ML until after c200 so you don't read that one for the romance (I was thinking the story would go the no cp route by the time he made an appearance...I think he's the ML at any rate).
Reborn as a system, Straight guy's goddess system, Reborn into a slash game, Marshals wanna divorce, Need to propose to 7 men, Every world is not quite right, QT: getting a bun in the oven, Reader x Protagonist, QT: Face of the devil, etc.... most of them are by Long Qi ...so many but mostly they are funny, fluffy mostly, angst is usually deliberate due to ML-self abuse/delusion or MC manipulation.
My favorite is Exile (banished to another world), I don't even know why, but I guess is because the character growth is so big that it left me amazed... the end is well... but the story is quite deep

Going through my list, I realize that there’s so many amazing BL that’s not updated for a long time or not complete. Ofc, I MTL’d them to the end, but I can’t rec them in threads like this. I’m surprised by someone mentioning Heroic Death System. I remember it being full of angst/sadness and crying my eyes out when reading it.
