Instead of strong arming guests into signing up, what if they took one of the paid chapters and made it available to the users who had signed up?

If they did it this way and not used the forced sign up, instead of reading on other sites I would have happily signed up.

Please tell me how forcing people to sign up is going to magically increase their revenue. Other than annoying me, this change hasn't forced me to view ads, I just find a way around it.

So it's not like the usual where the first X chapters are free while the later ones are locked, but rather a daily limit? In that case it makes sense that I haven't noticed since I haven't binge read anything on WXW for months.

Yeah, its not really inconvenient and signing up isn't really much of an issue. If people don't want some newsletter or emails going into their main email add, they can just use their por- *ahem* *ahem*, "other" email addresses.

are there any good novels on WW that they have started translating since christmas? From my memory WW 'only' had like half a dozen good novels and two dozen meh ones.

As for OPs question: Being forced to sign up, no matter where will only compell me to look for alternatives. Unless of course it was clear to me from the start that I would be spending money or need an account for something (like with Steam)
