I want to tell you, but I am afraid I will give too much spoiler Hmmm... The MC is early chapter is a lich, right? He is also a jusdge there, but he is actually a some kind of demon monarch? an evil being and that city is actually his prison. The fact is, he is actually has a long scheme (a really long scheme. His lich form is actually his 4th body. Every time he died, and transfer into a river of stynx, he can always get his previous life memory. Well, if you include his previous life in the modern world, then it's a 5th body) I like this novel because MC is really funny. It can made me laugh out loud, but It can also suddenly made me cry like a baby. It's heartbreaking and so tragic. But it also funny and full of sarcasm. I like how author slowly revealed MC's scheme and his tragic and sad past I can't find more word to convince you how much I love this novel Hope you also like this Fyi, it also adapted into anime. Season 1 = Vol 1-3. I already read it until volume 11. I still prefer read the novel, but if you want to try to watch it, it also good. Be careful, because the anime version can lead you into shipping the mc with the wrong heroine. The real heroine didn't really appeared on vol 1-3. She appeared on Vol 4, and her relationship with MC is unhealthy but majority of novel reader can't help but ship them
There's a few novels like WMW, Reverend Insanity, RTW, etc. that come to mind (and some that don't) but they're all old/already mentioned so... One Piece Talent System ^That's one of the few fairly recent novel translations that I can think of. MC is definitely calm and collected. Honestly he might even be a bit too pragmatic at times. (I also wish he interacted a bit more with Nico Robin... Their relationship is just starting to get a bit close by 180 chapters in) There's not much of kingdom building or management, but the MC has his own small pirate crew. Anyway, so the only problem would be if you wouldn't read any fanfics, hate system novels, or something like that. But I 100% think this novel is worth trying cause it's unlike most of the other naruto/bleach/one piece fanfics I've seen on NU. Honestly when I saw that the author was the same as God of Soul System (another one piece fanfic) I was shocked, cause that novel is soo bad... (His naruto one seems to be trash as well.)
Wow , uh i didnt expect that, really, i thought crazy lich is just random novel with weird comedy genre, i dont even understand what is the point of first few chapters, your desc really hooked me in I like my imagination more than animation, i rarely watch anime I dont mind fanfic if its good, lot of fanfic start good but turn downhill really fast I will try it later
