Recommendations New to Novels

    My fav genre are action,romance,mystery and comedy. Would be happy to have a series having all these genres.

    Things i dont like -

    -shoujo/josei or stories from female point of view
    -virtual reality/gaming elements
    -isekai - reborn into other world or dream or game or anything like that

    mainstream ones are always the best material of introduction for newbies

    so my recommendation is to check out the "ranking" section of this site,
    most popular monthly specifically

    try out any of the top ranking in the list

    however, knowing you are "new" on novels, it might be a big culture shock for you to try chinese novel on day 1, my recommendation for you is checking out korean novels first maybe some jap if you prefer and go your way through chinese novels,

    not that its a bad thing going chinese on day one, its just bit a confusing in the beginning for the uncultured reader.... like me

    To be fair, it's only 1 character that got Isekai'd, and it has a diff POV for each chapter. Hell the guy doesn't even act as a Reincarnator should

    Im actually not "very" new to Asian novels. I've read a bunch a short 1 volume web novels. Though just one but also a Chinese novel named Heavenly Jewel Change which i read around a year or two ago and also a japanese light novel called Sevens which i ended up dropping after knowing it has a manga adaptation so i went for manga instead :p

    I might continue Sevens but i don't remember where i left it.

    Oh i mixed up titles. I remembered i dropped Sevens for some other reason and the novel which i dropped cuz of manga adaptation was that mushko tensai or something like that.
