    Using an i7-8750H processor with 16gb ram and 4 GB GTX 1050 (Laptop)

    For gaming, I always use the middle setting so I won't burden my laptop too much

    It's not common, unless you have a butt ton of money to drop, but it is possible.

    Well yes, but how much customizable it is will be depending on the form factor of the laptop itself. For example like the old Alienware laptop was big and bulky right? Since it have big form factor, you probably can use any most of laptop gpu in it. If you want thin and compact laptop though, there aren't really much customization you could do since not all gpu are thin enough to be put in a compact chassis.

    Yeah.. with the price of my laptop (market price when i bought it), I probably can easily get 3 high-end pc with RTX cards.. but there are few reasons i have to buy this;

    1. I am still a uni stud, and so having a laptop would really convenient me in case i have to do presentation using it.

    2. Studying overnight in 24-hours fast food franchise like McD would be convenient too, especially when nearing examination weeks

    3. Going back and forth from my parent's house and my house is really far, why? Cuz my parent's house is on the country side, and so having a laptop is really convenient in traveling

    4. Though expensive, after 3 or 4 years, i would have a job and would be able to buy a new laptop, or pc anytime anyway. And i could just give this laptop to my lil' sister by that time.

    Hmmm i think there's more reasons when i bought it, but these are the crucial ones.

    Just thinking out loud, but can't you just 3D print the chassis instead of getting a chassis from another laptop? That would allow you to have a laptop that is as compact as you want, right?

    Thats true. But i dont think the company in my country are capable or even have the machine to do so. They probably lack in design engineer too.. otherwise they won't be relying on other suppliers

    16 gigs should be around $100 come black friday/Christmas/end of year clearance.

    Most modern laptops, in general, are really compact. And if you really want it reaaaaaaally compact, then you are going to have performance issues because of lack of airflow and the sacrifice of hardware specs.

    Besides that, laptops nowadays are designed with the parts in mind and some are even soldered on or overlapped to save space-as opposed to a desktop where you can swap parts out at will. It's actually less of a hassle to custom order a laptop rather than build one. Either way, gaming laptops are overrated. I rather just wait for a sale on a beefy laptop than buy something because the manufacturer slapped a "gaming" title to it.
