What, if we think there's not enough benefits? Will you still continue to love? I can say that I will.
Actually, love and companionship are all abstract feelings imo. If you think they are real, they are. You can live a lifetime without them, or you can choose to make your life miserable in search of them.
I feel the same as GDliZy, I don't think it's really feasible to think of a scenario that I'm in love and have a 0 possibility of settling IRL. I already went through 2 LDRs, and in both cases I was willing to go to the other side of the world if it meant being with my significant other. I can adapt to different culture, language, religion and what not, so... I'd go for it, as simple as that, if I'm in love, I won't give up on love just because we're a few continents apart. We just need to find a way to get rid of that humongous distance.
I know you are someone who will rather try and fail. But can we not choose to keep it safe inside a dream?
The word virtual in virtual relationship says it all. The relationship will always remain virtual or if you want to say, it would be a fake one. Real relationships are fragile enough so how about virtual ones where you dont even know the other person properly. Also if you talk to each other on phone then it wont be a virtual relationship but more like a long distance relationship
Right! If you talk to each other it's not virtual anymore. At least you know the voice of each other.
Yeah in the end virtual relationship will be more like just texting each lovey dovey things and nothing else~
When you are in love, you'll try to explore whatever means you can use for communication. Also, it's not necessary to text only lovey dovey things.
Meh same thing. As i said, if you communicate directly then its basically a long distance relationship and if you meet irl then it would be a real relationship imo
Well, I've never been in LDR, but the important thing to me is the commitment. Where do you guys want to take that relationship? If it's really zero possibility like what you said, then I'd rather end that relationship as it would be a waste of my time and emotion.
I'll refer a short story named The Japanese Wife (Bengali) which was adapted into a film. It's available in wiki.
Ooh a 2010 movie~ kinda interesting... btw did the movie only cover this story or also the other short stories in the book?
