I'm thinking whether to write this arc or nah! And since I'm lazy yet I promise to write a summary after I'm done reading each arc, I'll still write this one but.... a big BUT... only a short summary hehehe Spoiler: Arc 8 (I find this arc very boring since this is another detective conan like setting. I'm not fond of mystery and cracking cases, you know~ So, I will not elaborate the cases they solved) -MC is a forensic investigator and ML policeman and the head of the team -the first impression of MC to ML is an "Uncle" so,even when MC felt different to ML, she tried to avoid this "uncle" but only for a day hahahalol -There is a cases involving women died horribly. Having their sexual organ destroyed -the two or three cases are the same but the last one is almost the same at first yet different (I can't remember what's difference) -anyway, ML and MC still get together and MC even teasing ML being an uncle. She always called him uncle even they were together Hhaha so, ML will call MC loli -they found who the murderer and they were right (MC guess) that the three case at first were different from the last but they don't have any evidence -the first murderer is a shemale. He/she is in love with his/her boyfriend but when his bf find out that he is not a she, he breaks up with him and even humiliated him. So, whenever this murderer so a couple arguing and the girl want to break up with her bf but bf still wanted them to stay togther, this will trigger the murderer mentality. She/he is jealous/envy this girls for being a girl and having the love of their bf but not caring about this love -the second murderer is the husband of the victim. The murderer is a loyal husband yet poor and I think even ugly while the victim is a pretty girl yet social climber/gold digger. The murderer is wearing a green hat for a long time and he even knows it yet subconsciously, he lives in his own fantasy. Saying that they're husband and wife are having a good feelings etc etc yet it is not true since the victim has three or more rich man lover. Until the last, the murderer breaks down and killed his wife but he tries to forget everything about it and telling everyone how much he loves his wife etc etc -this two murderer has a psychological problem that even both ML and MC don't know wjat to feels anymore. Still, they catch this two murderers. -the end is ML propose to MC
I'm started to think whether to drop this novel or not.... anyone can tell whether this is worth reading? Is the ending satisfying? 'Cos I'm started to get bored in the arc that I'm currently at. (ML is a puppeteer while MC is a puppet). The flow of story is really different to the title. No face slapping happening here, no revenge on protagonist/villain
ohoh just found this thread, i read the whole thing some time ago and (praise myself) i wrote short arc summaries bc well, i always end up forgetting what i've read after some time.. the titles i'll post are not the real titles of each arc but the ones i wrote in my review for this novel (aka invented, but quite illustrative of the arc) The first translator named chap 1 as prologue so the order of the chapters got messed up, following the right order chapter "6" is actually chapter 7, so the next translated chapter 8 is already the correct chapter, there are no chapters missing Spoiler: 1- Female warrior vs princess of the south: let’s protect the general! Arc 1 – female warrior vs princess of the South. Xia Liang saves the ML from an ambush and gets injured while protecting him, he feels like someone cares for him for the first time so he brings her home and totally pampers her. SFL is a maid that tries to seduce ML, when she tries to set up XL ML arrives and deals with her. XL leaves on the night of the marriage. 1-22. Spoiler: 2- Snake cultivator sister, usurped identity: joining forces with a villain. Arc 2 – snake cultivator sister. XL’s sister stole her soul and body and confined her in prison for hundreds of years. She escapes and frees ML with whom she makes a soul-binding contract. They scheme to make XL’s sister fight against her male partners and succeed in destroying her sect through other hands. XY had a system cheat and blew herself up, XL sacrifices herself to cast a spell that protects ML, since she broke her promise ML is expected to blacken and destroy the world. 22-42 Spoiler: 3- I’m a cat! Solving mysteries with a pampering detective. Arc 3 – the black cat. XL transmigrates into a cat body because her soul was damaged in the last explosion. She is taken care of by Ji Yue, a detective investigating a case of murders in a household, which is also task for XL. They grow very affectionate and XL can communicate with JY. When the case is solved, she is reluctant to part. (side-story XL becomes a cat girl and lives with JY for a lifetime) 43-81 Spoiler: 4- Leader’s sister vs rebirthed team member. Battling in a zombie apocalypse alongside my aloof brother, but why is he so clingy? Arc 4 – leader’s sister vs rebirthed. Zombie apocalypse setting, XL is with her distant brother and other people in hiking outing. They encounter monsters, in next village all zombies. Get the car and go to the city, the siblings are all mushy, the rebirthed person tries to indirectly kill XW, later escapes. They arrive at the militar base, they discover they’re not siblings, snu snu, rebirthed arrives, confrontation, XW dies to protect XL, XL gives up her soul points plus debt to save him and dies, XW revives and remembers their previous meetings. 82-165 Spoiler: 5- Daughter of a court minister: Emperor, my father has been framed! Arc 5 - 166-209. Ancient setting, XL needs to avoid that his father gets framed, spying on him in a flower building meets the ML who is the Emperor in disguise. The next time they meet she kisses him, and he starts to be obsessed with her but he doesn’t trust her, keeps her surveilled. She discovers he is XW’s soul, so she starts sending him love letters thought the hidden guards and he starts to accept and trust her. The other prince is plotting against the emperor and has the support of a reincarnator/trasnmigrator, XL starts dealing with them by disrupting their business, the emperor will make her his queen. After they deal with the rebellious king, they marry and live together for a lifetime, finally earns 100th point of trust before dying. Spoiler: 6- Saving people at the school campus, let’s help this scoundrel get into uni! Arc 6 (210-243). School campus. XL task is to save 3 people, one of them is Lu Hao, an unsociable bad student, she saves him after he is beaten up by delinquents. Since they are classmates she asks to sit next to him and suspecting that he is ML she says to let him chase her when he falls in love with her, then help him study to get into one of the best unis, which is her task. LH slowly falls for her and starts studying under her tutoring, with kissing as rewards. After some trouble due to the non-dating policy of the school, they pass their exams, graduate, marry, and HEA. Spoiler: 7- Curing the poisoned husband, unfavoured young master in a merchant family. Arc 7- XL gets married to the second young master of a merchant family, but he is very weak with less than half a year to live. She discovers that he is poisoned, and after confirming it’s her lover she nurses him back to health. They start dealing with the mother-in-law who had poisoned him and then with his brothers who didn’t have goo intentions, finally getting back his inheritance rights and thus completing the mission. Spoiler: 8- Forensic doctor, let’s earn points while solving cases with this antisocial policeman! Arc 8 -forensic doctor. XL is a just graduated forensic doctor in an apprenticeship, collaborating with a police team investigating a series of murders. One of the police inspectors is ML, they investigate this and another murder case, each solved case gives her points. Spoiler: 9- Puppet and puppet master, is this love or mere obsession? Arc 9 – spiritual world. Inner spirit can be mastered and used in a puppet that will obey and fight for you. ML is despised by his family but finally reaches mastery and awakes the puppet where XL’s soul resides. They get accepted as disciples of a famous master but later solving old grudges they need to escape. They become stronger but in the end they fall at the royal family’s hands. A powerful puppet from the god city rescues them and after they reach heavenly stage they are in charge of god city and they are about to get married, but XL is forcefully pulled out of the world by the system. Spoiler: 10- I want to be a star! Powerful CEO, let me hug your thight! Arc 10 – entertainment star. XL wakes up in a bed and just then enters Wen Ren, a powerful CEO. He is interested in her behavior and after snu snu decides to keep her at his side, let her enter entertainment world as singer since that’s her mission. She gets famous easily and their relationship gets public but then he goes bankrupt and she leaves her company and opens her own. Her first movies has already been released and impressive. Just before releasing her new album someone steals her song but they demonstrate authorship with an emotive concert. WR later makes a comeback to the financial world and she retires after receiving the awards needed for the tasks. Spoiler: 11- Childhood friends, need to save the fate of these people. Arc 11 – countryside. XL starts as a 6-year-old child and becomes attached to Fang Xu, they become really sticky and go to school, help safe the fate of a villager as part of her task. He later leaves to the city with his father, 5 years later they meet again and discover his father is cheating and forced his mother to suicide, but finally save her. they go back to the village and when the father interferes again they start planning how to cause his bankruptcy, when the father dies in a car accident his mother’s fate is saved and XL completes the task. FX starts to remember his past life as WR. Spoiler: 12- Accused as a temptress, who is this fierce and scary prince? Arc 12 – beauty that brings calamity. XL transmigrates to an ancient setting to the bride about to marry the emperor, so beautiful it can bring disaster to the country. But she finds the old emperor already dead. The several princes want to convict the demoness but Qi Tian falls infatuated and it is proved that the emperor died of shock because of a ghost. QT and the crown prince fight and QT wins but XL is injured protecting QT (who is expected to be the only one who can keep her alive since she is called a demoness). Lately she finally discovers its ML but the character this time strongly suppresses the aura of ML so it is a bit difficult at first to determine. A poison expert infatuated with ML causes a plague and blame its on the demoness, XL goes there and solves it but sacrifices many points, but finally clears her reputation. Spoiler: 13- Warming up the cold teacher Arc 13 – cold teacher. Yu Qinghan is a famous personality in the field of management, for several years has had vague dreams about their past lives. He rescues XL when she is drugged in a bar and feels attracted to the eyes that resemble the dream. XL cannot ascertain that he is ML, but he is her task. YQ starts to teach at her uni just because of her. A rebirthed roommate who schemed her drugging tries to confront her and later on when YQ and XL are already together tries to pour acid sulphuric in her face but she evades and the other goes to prison. HEA. Spoiler: 14- Adopted by an underworld king without my memories. Arc 14 – because of a bug in the system, XL doesn’t have memories and is in the body of a 3-year-old child that gets adopted by ML, who is leader of a gang. When they find her during one of the night raids he becomes very attached and watches her grow as the pearl in his palm, but as she grows up he starts growing possessive. She also feels very attached to only him and at 17 realizes her feelings, finally get together. He is injured by an old enemy and she recovers her memories due to shock which allows her to save him. They have a daughter later on. Spoiler: 15- In this matriarchy, this female general is going to teach the fake princess a lesson. Arc 15 – matriarchate, ML is disguised as female since he is a son of the Empress. XL is a general returning from the borders, they feel attraction at first sight but there are some misunderstandings. The Empress gets wind of it and makes XL the ML’s teacher and lives with him. Slowly lower his guard and make him accept her, teases him. They go at the border for a time while training the princess that will be next Empress and then go back.
Spoiler: 16- I’m a doctor haunted by a clingy ghost ah. Arc 16 – ghost hospital. XL is a doctor in charge of a vegetative ML who actually has his soul out of his body and is infatuated with XL since she touched him. After he causes a small incident XL can notice his cold touch and when she is hurt and he licks her blood she can hear him. She continues to feed him blood and is discovered by the fiancée who causes trouble, XL can see physical ML. When ML’s mother wants to transfer hospitals because of what fiancée said, since it can be considered a crisis ML finally wakes up in order not to be separated of XL. Spoiler: 17- Forced to be a white lotus, I don’t want to cry either, don’t dislike me! Arc 17 – she is forced into a white lotus body, so she has to act accordingly. The previous host had just cut her wrist after marrying ML and was in the hospital. He dislikes her crying but notices the fierce look in her eyes from time to time, so he becomes increasingly interested. After fighting off a green tea bitch, he starts liking to tease her more and more and are finally able to live together happily after many liters of tears. Spoiler: 18- Fake little eunuch and fake Emperor, let’s escape the palace! Arc 18 – XL is disguised as a eunuch and can’t let anyone in the palace know as her mission. ML is the emperor and after seeing her takes a liking to her. emperor has a few days of bad mood a month, now is one of those days. Emperor orders her to accompany him and when serving him in his chambers she massages him causing a reaction, which she takes care of with her hands. He grants her a room in his palace, later she has her first period and needs to ward him off, achieves her mission of being named head eunuch (head eunuch has been shipping hem all along). Ml is actually the twin of the real emperor, who needs to leave a few days a month to detoxify his poison. XL gives cures him so she and ML leave together the palace and she can finally reveal her identity. Spoiler: 19- Dear police officer, this vampire doesn’t want to suck you dry! Arc 19. Xia Liang is a vampire, ML is a police officer, investigating the murder (by a vampire) of a female student. He feels immediately attracted to XL and after interacting with her and guessing her identity still invites her to his house and offers his blood. His boss is a werewolf. Suddenly another group of vampires arrive and XL and werewolf are against them, ML is a wizard’s reincarnation and they want to use his life to become humans again. During the battle one of those vampires kills ML and XL kills all the vampires and herself. -691 Spoiler: 20- This clothes designer will deal with my green tea b*tch sister Arc 20. Due to punishment, XL has no memories of MC but she knows about the system and everything. XL’s younger sister is green tea that wants to hook up with her fiancée, XL doesn’t want this marriage, she is a designer. At a party she is forced to attend at her fiancée’s place, she meets ML who immediately falls for her and does some sneaky things, he is the big boss of her fiancée. They meet again and develop their feelings, lil sis wants to ruin XL in a fashion week and fiancée also has his own plans. They make the 2 sleep together then hate each other, and after they got the revenge on the two of them ML and XL live together till old. At the end they both recuperate her memories but just then XL leaves. It looks like ML is also in a system contract and his task has to do with XL. Spoiler: 21- Young Master, I’m a good ghost. Arc 21. XL is a ghost, ML is the young master of an influential family. He notices the runes suppressing her and frees the ghost, tells her he will help her with her revenge against her family, who killed her. He goes as a guest to her family’s manor and they discover XL’s aunt entered the manor as a concubine to take revenge on XL and her mother. Gu Yumo arranges for her to escape and then to convict the family for several crimes, XL reincarnates in the niece of GYM, but when she grows up it is finally revealed that GYM’s brother is adopted so they are not blood-related and can be together. Spoiler: 22- In a beast world, I have cat ears and tail! Arc 22. A beast world with orcs (have beast and human form), half-orcs (human with some beast features) and females (all human, used for reproduction, scarce thus favored). XL goes to the forest and meets a powerful orc so she escapes, but is ML so they end up doing it. Then he runs away but she follows, he became a small beast due to some circumstances. She brings it back to the village, there is an annoying transmigrated FL. The village is attacked but they deal with it, XL finds a cure so half-orcs can breed as well, ML recuperates his original form, he is from the dominating race in the beast kingdom. They have a baby and HEA. Spoiler: 23- The transmigrator’s task is to destroy my happiness?! Arc 23. XL is a young widow, husband died accidentally in the wedding night, family maltreats. The sis-in-law is a transmigrator that has to destroy XL’s happiness and earn a target’s love. XL is finally expelled from the family and she takes shelter in the blacksmith’s, ML, house. Later they marry and WR takes over during the wedding night. During he following days XL learns some truths from WR: she has been ‘created’ by him to save him, has to live in the plane together the whole life for that to happen, someone is his enemy, her tasks help him. His ‘data’ have been scattered over the planes and in order to recuperate/preserve it he crated XL as a ‘carrier’, later it changed. The better their feelings the better the data is preserved. In a banquet where XL and WR are forcefully brought, transmigrator finally dies and they leave the village, target loses his memory again. Spoiler: 24- In the flower building, I’m a spy, but I don’t want to kill you! Arc 24. Ancient, XL is the most beautiful flower in a flower building but also a secret agent of a spy association. Her spy and system mission is to kill SH, leader of the spy faction on the Emperor’s side, ML. After they meet, they plan how to let her accomplish her mission. During another mission where they have opposite stances, someone who looks, talks and behaves exactly like SH approaches her and asks her to kill several people on HS’s side. They plan to have this impostor replace SH and then kill him to accomplish the mission. After he replaces SH, he grows arrogant and rebels, they stop him and uncover the truth to the emperor, let him dissolve the spy faction, and marry. Spoiler: 25- I’ll rise you again into stardom! Emm, this reporter is sorry to have framed you! Arc 25. XL is a reporter who has just thrown ML from stardom to dust. When she crosses she goes fetch him despite his hostility and helps him uncover he was framed. He starts acting again but this time XL helps him better his acting, and he soon becomes a male god, they marry and have children. Spoiler: 26- I’m a brainless zombie, so come seduce me first and then let’s save the world! Arc 26. This time, WR has his memories, but XL is a high-level zombie who doesn’t remember. When he finds her she kinda recognizes him and follows him around, he tries to teach her to speak. They later go into a laboratory where the human virus was first developed and discover all of them are high-level zombies who retain most of their memory. XL develops a vaccine and is acclaimed as angel in the human camp. They spread the vaccine and save the world since it’s the only way to achieve the needed HEA, she regains her memories with time. Spoiler: 27- I’m a lawyer, but you’re not an assassin…. right? Arc 27. XL is a lawyer and ML is the supposed assassin, she bails him out in the first trial even though it seemed a lost cause and with him investigate together till they find the murderer, while they deepen their feelings at the same time. Spoiler: 28- In this cultivation world, I’m not in my own body?! Emperor, don’t marry that impostor! Arc 28. World of cultivation, XL’s soul is in another body and heard that Wen Emperor will be marrying a XL. She enters a martial competition since the winner can meet the Emperor. The fake XL which is part of the main system tries to interfere, after XL wins she is tricked but WR saves her in time. It is discovered that she is a demon race, while she is cultivating the demons controlled by fake XL attack, at the critical juncture XL awakens as reincarnation of demon god and stops the battle. Spoiler: 29- I’m a singer in the old republic, but the system wants to obliterate me! Arc 29. Republic, XL is poor and goes to sing in a bar to pay debts of her family, she attracts the attention of QQ and LS. Her sister is sent by the system and tries to tear QQ and XL apart when they get closer, they don’t have memories. She hooks up with LS and tries to mess their relationship but when QQ is about to die due to LQ’s scheme XL recovers her memories. In the end she gets killed by XL and XL and QQ can be together without problems. Spoiler: 30- Little Red Riding Hood, the demon wolf is cursed. Arc 30 – XL is little red riding hood, there’s a demon wolf at night who attacks the town and she discovers it’s WR. He is the king and has been cursed, XL is the reincarnation of god of light and needs the scepter to break his curse. The church is corrupted, and the pope placed the curse on WR with the help of the persona created by the system. XL finally gets hold of the scepter and purifies him. Spoiler: 31- Final arc, this is a robot world! You don’t have feelings? Let’s spread love! Arc 31 – the real world, humanity is extinct and the society is driven by all kind of robots. XL is an anchor robot who does live broadcasts to earn energy points, and she discovers this live broadcasts are like her memories in the other worlds but different without her interaction with WR. She doesn’t have almost spectators. The live broadcast she is doing is palace harem, but when emperor approaches she notices it’s not WR so she fakes sick and WR turns out to be the doctor. She seduces him instead of the emperor, which draws the attention of the other robots (they don’t have emotions but watch live broadcastings as entertainment) as it diverts from the expected plotline. She drugs the emperor to make him think they spent the night together and climbs the ranks as she gains intimacy with WR. She finally gets pregnant and then WR rebels and becomes the emperor and she the empress, achieving her mission in this world. At the same time, thanks to this the main system recognizes that if he couldn’t delete WR after all this time (because WR shows emotions which shouldn’t be it wanted to eliminate him) then it might be because those emotions are not a problem so it just lets it be. WR had created then been in love with XL so he put her through the worlds to let her experience his emotions. They decide to keep broadcasting worlds to make the robots understand love or wanting to get love after being fed so much dog food.
