I love love love thunder storms. It's so chaotic yet peaceful and when it thunders....It's like a rush of energy~
Once I was a 10 yo, i went up to the top floor to play a game of "alone and stupid". There was a thunderstorm and a lightning struck the building, bright light and a loud boom fill my sights and sound. I remember crouching, closing my eyes and clutching my ears.
I usually spend the whole night waiting for flashes and counting the seconds...I haven’t been the same since last year when I counted 3 and heard the crash.... I know! I didn’t used to be scared of Thunderstorms until then! I live on a hill, surrounded by poplar trees...
Those puppies be idiots. There is nothing relaxing about Thunderstorms if you’ve ever seen a flash and heard thunder three seconds after!
Thunderstorms are great. Reminds Ai-chan of the time when Ai-chan was small and onii-chan was still living at home. Ai-chan ran off into onii-chan's bed everytime thunder struck and snuggled with onii-chan until Ai-chan fell asleep.
To be honest, I appreciate thunder and lightning during the night. When blackouts happen, I just need to see the purple skies lighten up with bursts of crackling white branches upside down. The only things I fear about them is the unknown moment whether I will be hit or not, and will there be pain or death right away? Excluding those, I find them a comfort when I sleep.
...... But it's fun watching the gods fight each other... as kids we used to build cardboard box forts and cover them with plexiglas and watch the storm as the sheet lightning lit up the clouds. Half the time fell asleep listening to it. So find thunderstorms quite relaxing.
I remember catching a lightning some years ago. . . . and I store it in a bottle. . . and I forgot where I placed it. . . sometime later, I saw a guy on YouTube . . . he was high and said he bought it from someone. . . damn that was my bottle, I even have a name engraved on it. . . I thing guys name Key. . . or was it Peele?
Thunderstorms are great. Just make a cup of tea, go outside, sit on the porch swing and watch nature in all its fierce glory
Had my dad's asshole friend toss me in his hotel's pool when there was a thunderstorm going on -_- Seriously thought I was going to get hit by lightning.
I've always loved lightning and thunder the closest I've ever come to being scared of it was when during a stormy night I had to walk my dog and a lightning bolt struck the powerlines overhead about 30ft to my right my ears were ringing and i was blinded for about a minute from the flash my only thought was "huh I should go inside" as my dog started pulling me toward the house
