Discussion Looking for a webtoon with growing MC in a game like environment (if not a game)

I kind of like edgy characters so it's not a problem

oh is it like a reincarnation with an otome game plot? I kinda like this story setting but it doesn't fit the criterias I've asked.....But I'll go look for it!!

 

It's not really the edgy part for me, it's the transformation that happens faster than instant ramen. Solo Leveling's MC transformation into edgy is too sudden. Just one life-threatening encounter and all-of a sudden he's a hardened veteran. The author's rushed attempt is eye-rolling.

 

Yeah I agree with that part: the character becomes a totally different person too fast..but many people complain when the character isn't growing fast, so I can understand why the author felt like he had to accelerate the process, in order not to lose the major part of the fans following the series...Still, the art is really great and we can see they spent time on the plot
