    For me it was Parallel World Pharmacy after I got tired of waiting for manga chapters.

    Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken.
    I could say Overlord, but Slime was the real kick into NovelUpdates.

    Mushoku tensei. After finished reading the first chapter of the manga, I got hooked and went read the novel

    My first WN novel was Tales of Demons and Gods. As it is not finished, i searched for more in the internet and came across Coiling Dragon, after which I read Mushouku Tensei, and I got hooked into CN/JP/KN LN/WN

    Duke's Daughter manga, under the manga people kept talking about the novel being translated and I googled it out of curiosity. Eventually it led me to the novelupdates website.

    The very first one should be Chrome Shelled Regios. But Shield Hero and Mushoku Tensei sealed the deal for me to read WN/LN.

    I was watching Chrome Shelled Regios at AXN and kinda got curious what happens next. Manga didnt help much because its all over the place, plus the anime itself is a mess in how the novel was written.

    My first novel was from the Percy Jackson series, so that kinda got me into things you could say. And first light novel was Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria...and I've gotta say, that's one hell of a way to be introduced to light novels. Immediately raised my opinion of light novels from the get go. First CN was Coiling Dragon like everybody else here. lol (Can someone tell me why basically everybody's first CN novel is Coiling Dragon?)

    Anyway, I can't really say what truly got me into reading novels since I've been reading books since I was a child. Basically, I've always been into novels. To other people it'd be like asking "what got you into movies?", which is stupid cause most people have generally watched movies all their lives, there was no particular thing that got them into it...it's just a go-to method for recreation because it's just there.

    It actually didn't start with a novel. My journey started with manga, and I remember searching online for a manga for whatever reason, and came across the novel version of it. I read it, liked it, searched for more, and came across novelupdates. And here I am now, unable to live without novelupdates anymore

    My first novel was also percy jackson series. Till now My favourite author is Rick Riordan. I've read all of his books.

    My Novel journey started with Harry Potter-Book2 (translated in home language). After I got taste of novel I started to read some english novels too. First of them were Eragon series and Percy Jackson series. These novels showed me the world of ebooks. After I got into College and started to get free net connection, I watched a lot of anime and to get story about what happened after anime I started to look for LN/WN. At first I didn't even knew what NU site was there for. I thought it was just review site so instead of looking in NU, I tried to search in Google for all novel. When I got to know NU i thought it was the best website for a reader.
    My first JP was Arifureta and Mushoku Tensei . For KR it was Everyone else is a returnee. Now its been Four years and I think I've read most of novels listed in NU. Whenever I try to find new novels to read It takes too much time to find a suitable novel.
