I'm going to steal and post one of the reviews about this work: Simply lovely. One of the first novels which hooked me from start to finish. The MC is incredibly endearing and has a refreshing personality and perspective. The ML is gentle and not at all rapey. When they do finally get together, both are very, very enthusiastic, which contrasts nicely with ML's relationship with a side character at the beginning of the novel. There's a good balance between descriptions of filming and relationship development. Female characters exist, have personality, and have purpose other than being hindrances to the OTP. There's enough drama to be interesting, but not enough to be frustrating. In short, this is simply a very, very, very good novel. The only qualm I have is that the ML's mind reading power, which is a pretty important plot device, is never explained other than maybe aliens. He also never tells MC about it, but even if he did, MC probably wouldn't care. And in the end, even I as the reader didn't care, because the plot points involving MC and ML's relationship development intertwined with their entertainment circle troubles was just so good. 10/10 would recommend. Also, relatively easy to read in Chinese, so good for beginners. _____ A very fun read with nice drama and story-telling. The MC has a distinctive personality with a stiff facial expression and hilarious thoughts. The tragic past grips me a lot, too. I'm still only in the beginning of the series, but I'm looking forward to the comedy resulting from the mind-reading abilities. Also, the MC's mom is a total boss. It's rare that I've come across a mother in a series that makes me cheer as much for her as I do the MC.
+1~ The updates stopped just as their interactions properly start, so it's a bit of a pity. It's a really sweet novel, so I'd be glad if updates picked up again!

Although on novelupdates it says last update is in September (9th month), the last update was in June (6th month). Evidence: the date of comments on the last chapter released. They probably dropped it seeing that they have like 2 chapters in May (5th month) and only that 1 chapter in June and then nothing for 3 months.
