Say it’s a hot and highly humid day, and the outside temperature’s higher than your room. Would you keep the windows open for a breeze? P.S. I got no air conditioning kek
All this humidity is getting me really worried for my violin. I am too scared to take it out of my case.
i do keep my window open, but a cool trick i saw on youtube that seemed to work is take a plastic coke bottle. cut the bottom off, puncture holes in the middle with toothpicks and leave toothpicks inside, poke small holes in cap. tape bottle to a non ceiling fan, and leave a cup underneath. then place some ice in the bottle and you have DIY air conditioning Edit: poke more holes than toothpicks. use like 3-5 toothpicks but have like 7 + holes
No. Cuz more heat will get inside + mosquitoes out for ur blood. Its best to go to a room thats colder and only open ur windows when its almost night, cuz its usually cooler at night. Of course with a mosquito net
Similarly for a diy air conditioner if you have a fan, place a couple of not quite filled, sealed containers of water in a freezer, and have them freeze. (This is actually a good tactic to help the freezer not have to use as much energy to maintain the temperature in general plus in case the power goes out it'll help keep food from spoiling as fast.). Place a now frozen container into another container to catch the condensate that will come off of it, and now turn on the fan after closing the windows, swap out containers as necessary.
Buy some mosquito cased nets that fit in ur window and looks nice, and keep ur window open all night, you can also buy some sunlight reflective foil that u stick on ur window. Also u can start doing anything that you did on the floor (sleep/eat/whatever), and it wouldn't be as hot as it was before
Humidity + heat = extra atmosphere pressure. Keep it open if the wind is cool ~ If the weather is affecting your room only, you can just open the window If there's a breeze, it'll be better If the wind is hot too, still open the window. Cuz the room had shade (shadow) Its better to be in an open space with a good amount of shadow to cool down
