    Yeah, and Notre Dame original ending was grim, just like them Grimm Brothers.

    Alongside some nursery rhymes originating from morbid customs or tales.

    If they were to do a faithful adaptation of some of those fairy tales, those films could get an R-rating.

    All of European folk tales were originally very dark, which Disney turned into sweet fairytales that we love today. European folk tales were originally made to scare people away from doing bad deeds. Except for Sleeping Beauty. Fucking a corpse and making the corpse pregnant with twins? Nope!

    ???? eh? i thought mostly people know this already...it was around 2009 or 2010, there was gossip where Disney fairy tales are fake, etc so i was a bit intrigued... well, Disney only making the adaptation of the true fairy tales, so no need to get agitated about tbh

    i know the true Grimm's fairy tales, well, several of them, before i found the copy in my college library
    it was truly different ending...the Sleeping Beauty one fuck me up tbh since i didn't know the truth beforehand
    while Snow White, Cinderella and Little Mermaid had a bit piece in some manga (ex. Little Mermaid in Daa! Daa! Daa! / UFO Baby)
