A lot of novels are about winning over your crush, making the person who didn't love you wail in regret after the MC found ML and so on. They didn't elaborate the heart break or the process of moving on and the character development. I want a novel where the MC draws the line after suffering and grows as a person and learn to be more good to herself/himself.

What I am looking for, are:
    • MC moves on and grows as a person
    • more realistic portrayal of characters
    • boy/girl or boy/boy are both fine by me (preferable BL)
    • more details about the struggle to move on and a gradual development
    • if possible, it is already completed
    • novel or manga

This manga is about a MC that gets a second chance. He failed in life and never got over his childhood crush. In his second chance he tries to change for the better but finds out that it's not that easy and he can't even get his childhood crush to fall for him, even with the knowledge of the future. From then on he moves on and develops in a more confident character.

The manga is called: "Umareru Kachi no Nakatta Jibun ga Anna no Tame ni Dekiru Ikutsuka no Koto".

I looked it up a bit, "confident" is not really the right word, "psychopathic" should be more correct o_O
