I think ash would just be on a new journey this time pokemon championship leagues would just be a stepping stone not the goal in every region maybe this time he'll really go for mastery in games finishing the pokemon league would just put you on a new fuckin journey lol. maybe he would go revisit or retrain his pokemons that he left out that doesn't looked fully train like for example a freakin totodile

Sun and moon is totally different from the previous XY or even the very first one. They totally go with the "child-friendly" route.
Its always been the same, Pikachu should have been a very strong one by now since it travelled with Ash for 7 different regions.

his new journey would be becoming a legit champion of 6 vs 6 pokemon matches lol cuz since right now he is just like a frog in a well cuz he might be a champion but he's been in other places where champions had like legendary pokemons or a wickedly strong pokemon. To be honest I think last seasons pokemon championship was the most exciting.

 

I'd like to say at least around 20 yrs on top of however old he was when the show started?

 

i mean seriously his pikachu could be a legendary pokemon now especially with those battle experience

In real time, he'd be 34. Started journey at age 10, birthday in May.
But canonically, he'd be around 17-18.
