The mc was a crown prince(gong), he was married to a male as his wangfei. He hates his wangfei(shou) so much so he had many concubines around him. And I don't remember much but the shou also doesn't hate nor love him. So, when the crown prince was thrown to prison (not sure, maybe from the palace scheme) , only the shou stay by his side in the prison. His harem all abandoned him. Then, when they escaped together, the shou got shot by the arrow to save the gong, in despair as they were surrounded by the guard/assassin, the gong embraced his dead shou and jumped off the cliff. Then he got reborn after their wedding and he swore to threat the shou gently.
