Does anyone have any good recommendations on stories revolving strongly around blacksmithing or the like? Preferably one with an OP MC. I don't mind something like Everyone Else is a Returnee but even then, it started focusing too much on the couple... (not that it could be helped) but if possible, minimal side plot!
Well, there is 'Legendary Blacksmith Online' but the novel seems to be in hiatus or something There is also 'The Sacred Blacksmith' (LN, manga, anime and some games), quite the good one, it does have romance tho There is also 'Black Iron’s Glory', didn't read it yet but seems promising
Blacksmiths mc that i know of are: Spending my retirement in a game Overgeared A Certain Middle-Aged Man’s VRMMO Activity Log (crafter in general but blaksmithing is integral) Because I’m a Weapon Shop Uncle Knights & Magic (would crafting mecha count as blacksmithing?) Only Sense Online (LN) (again, a crafter in general more than blacksmithing in particular Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith (i havent reached the part where she actually makes weapons, but she should be a smith, sorta?) The Legendary Mechanic (not quite blacksmithing, but the scifi version i guess?) VRMMO no Shien Shokunin ～Top Player no Shikakenin～(the mc picks up blacksmithing ) The Card Apprentice ( while he isnt a blacksmith he is the equivalent, he crafts the weapons that are in the form of cards and is famous for his skill in it) The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (More a sculptor than a blacksmith, but he picks blacksmithing and all other forms of handscraft up and becomes skilled in them)
The New Gate The mc is a samurai and blacksmith, can't remember that the story revolving strongly around blacksmithing but it's an important fact and will probably play a bigger role later.
