Discussion Good novels you've dropped.

The novels that are so horrible butchered with MTL that even 'he' and 'she' are mixed up.
Also if it's a long novel and I've forgotten too much about it that I can't go on and I need to reread it, but it's not enjoyable because I still remember the most interesting twists or it only gets good later on

 

I also dropped the Randidly Ghosthound for the same reason

 

I drop every single novel that reaches the "something happened and MC forgot ML / ML forgot MC and they were separated for a few years" that shit sucks

 

I dropped Jujutsushi Wa Yuusha Ni Narenai, because the person who was translating the webnovel vanished december of last year and i lost track of how much i read. I wish someone picked it back though

 

Tales Of Demons & Gods (blame the author), Long Live Summons! (slow), The Great Demonking (slow), Upgrade Specialist In Another World (got bored & tired), Emperors Domination (I caught up on MTL back then & then story kept dragging on, while I got tired & bored at some point), Grasping Evil (slow & dropped MTL, don't remember why), ATG (turned crappy/unbearable at some point), My Deciple Died Yet Again (dropped halfway, might finish it), Peerless Martial God (don't remember why), Imperial God Emperor, Dragon-Marked Wardgod (tired) Skyfire Avenue, Heavenly Jewel Master, The Kings Avatar & Zhang Long.

I often drop novels/put them on hold, because I like to bingeread & sometimes I read MTL & finish/catch up to it like that, so I 'll wait till it's finished & continue if I can't stand the MTL. Then there're moodswings so I get irritated, tired, bored & lose interest temporarily.

I dropped Martial World for a long time (don't remember why, probably sheng mei was the reason), but finally finished it recently.

Edit: Whoa what a long list, probably still some missing, but those might not be good anyways.

the author is a retarded person who couldn't put an end to his work and doesn't want to put a happy end cause that would be like rushing and trying to shut up the readers i truly loved the story and all but the author is just a retarded person who couldnt put the novel on hiatus or discontinue it but left it like that for more than a year at least try to be like

where the author put it on indefinite hiatus which means not gonna be continued

Kumo Desu Ga Nani Ka - after reading 300 chapters of it, I stopped, I don't think I'll go back unless some people hypes it up.

Generally, I 'drop' novels because I forget about them.
Tales Of Demons & Gods for example.

 

I totally skipped through the last few chapters of transmigrator meets reincarnator, it was such a pity how that novel turned out since the beginning was quite promising. However I just couldn't stand the ML and when the FL "fell" for the ML she also became rather annoying....

 

I just put Doomed to be a cannon fodder on hold, because towards the end the MC is turning too much into a mary sue in my opinion. And obviously most "good" characters either admire or adore her....

 

I wonder why moonlight isekai stopped writing it, seemed to be good.

killed whatever her name was [EDIT: it was Lyra, who I loathed, but author shipped her hard] I off with a nice redemption arc, just to have her come back as a weird macguffin

He dumped Helen. They were having a fight during the tournament and had an agreement that if he was stronger than her then he would concede the match, this was because he had to take care of other things and if he wasn't strong enough to beat her then how could he hope to deal with it.

He also takes the time to say that the two of them aren't like that and the only thing between them is her gratitude for him making her stronger. Which sucks, she was the best girl.

 

I also dropped TDG, and I haven't looked it up for 3 yrs now. I think it's safe to assume that Nie Li is still negotiating with the female sect leader. XD

Reverend Insanity - it kinda gets boring when he became a zombie. Instead of his usual cunningness it feels like he solved most of his problems because of the thicc plot armor.

Charm of Soul Pets - it's a really fun read and there are a lot of chapters, but I caught up then let the chapters stack... But I kinda don't want to pick it up again.

The same thing happened with Lord of Mysteries. However, it's more because the plots of LoM is not as light as you think. It's something you'd binge to the end, but you can't just wantonly drop and pick it up.

Superstars of Tomorrow - this was the schiznit back in 2017 and early 2018 but the author kinda lost track and can't find a definite goal for the MC. I still check the chapter titles every once in a while, but I'm so disappointed that the story focused around Curly Hair. I mean I could understand a spin off chapters once in a while, but a whole arc about it? Hell nah!

LoHP - I did enjoy reading this one, but it became too repetitive.

Release that Witch - I couldn't bear with the massive amount of info dumps and fluff.

The King's Avatar - it's not really fun to read a novel about how fast you click the mouse and keyboard. So I just watched it and drop the novel entirely.

 

Second Life Ranker, dropped it early , because it's ongoing and there was not that many chapters.

I guess when I do this I try to leave more "good stuff" for later. I keep it in the back of the mind and will probably come back in few months to read it again.

 

I dropped it because the mc liked letting himself be walked over by women

 

I dropped in a different world with naruto system when the mc keeps letting women walk all over him and keeps getting assaulted viciously all in the name of comedy

 

ATG because the mc has his piorities all wrong his love interest never liked never was she interested in him not to talk about love what happened was that they were the only 2 people from the same city that survived a slaughter that killed everyone they knew(that's why she aslept with him its just like comfort sex she knew she was going to die so she wanted to know what it feels like before her death) the mc comes back to the past and orchestrated events that will make her fall in love with him while ignoring the one that actually loves him(he might claim ignorance but what about when they left the town and went to different sects one particularly nasty vicious bitch that has crippled a lot guys because she felt like it. In his former life nothing happened between them but in this one he got engaged to her started teaching her and saying she not a bad person after been threaten by her grandmother but when he became more powerful than the grandmother he continued doting on her . when I dropped the novel he already has more than 5 women he was entangled with with.
