[Poll] Would you share your body with a supernatural being?

Now that I think about it, MagicalGirlPoll-verse is a pretty hectic place. There's almost something crazy happening every day, it's kind of a wonder that the entire universe hasn't imploded yet.

Last night, you couldn't sleep very well so you went out onto the balcony of your apartment to catch some fresh air. Amazingly, you happened to witness a meteor shower magical girl battle far off in the skies, so at the very least you were able to enjoy the pretty light show.

Feeling refreshed, you were about to turn around and go back inside. However, suddenly an amorphous semi-transparent blob thing landed on your balcony with an ugly splat. It was frankly rather grotesque-looking and XXX-rated, kind of like someone took a meat grinder to a DragonQuest slime monster.

"...H-Help me..." You hear a faint voice telepathically in your head.

You squint carefully, and you do in fact affirm that the amorphous and grotesque blob thing is in fact talking to you.

"...I'm dying... The Magical Girl of Love and Justice opened a portal to the divine realm while using her Final Smash™, and I was accidentally sucked into the mortal world. Since I do not have a physical body, I will evaporate in minutes!"

As the blob says this, you observe that the blob does indeed appear to be getting more transparent by the second.

"Please! I need a body! Will you allow me to live inside yours? All I need to remain healthy is to fully control your body for two (awake) hours each day! I promise I won't control your body any more than that!"

The blob goes on to rapidly explain that it's not a powerful divine spirit at all, and it's possible that it would take an entire (human) lifetime before it recovers enough energy to be able to return to the divine realm.

Consequently, it's not able to offer you any special abilities. It is only capable of controlling your body, experiencing everything that you experience, and talking to you telepathically. It is also not able to tell you any classified information about the divine realm. However, since it would be sharing a body with you for an entire lifetime, it would be interested in making sure that you stay alive (healthy) until it is able to return home.

No. Because there are things i do that shouldn't be shared with anyone else, from this planet or not.
If they could even share what i was thinking about, man, divine blob or not, they would really regret it. Lol

What are the limitations of being "healthy"? As in free from disease/immune to viruses/regeneration/longer life/immune to radiation?/breathing underwater/etcetcetc. At what point does the blob break?

Fyi the zombies in Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead are all reanimated from nether blobs from another dimension.

I'd probably do it... as long as I get tentacles...

 

Minus the fact that people will think I have schizophrenia, it seems fine to me. I will dive in to the deepest abyss of 4chan and nhentai and make sure the blob wipes out all these heretics when he returns to the divine realm

 

I think what it means is that it doesn't have any special powers, but it absolutely has an interest in making sure that you are healthy enough that you will live long enough for it to recover enough power to return home.

For example, if you were overweight, this could include exercising for you during its two hours controlling you daily.

Actually, I think it has the potential to be quite pleasant. It doesn't say that the blob reads your mind per say, simply experiencing the same things as you. I think it would be nice to have a constant companion who can watch my back and help me make the right choices. Since the blob also requires me to live out a long life, I doubt it would do anything to harm me, either. After all, if I just killed myself it would die as well and that's a pretty big advantage against what is essentially an immortal being. But I do need to make sure: can we control who's in charge of the body at will, or is it more of a random change. It sounds to me like it's more of a food type situation where they need to be in control for at least two hours a day, and if that's the case I'm sure we could work things out to be mutually beneficial. Also, we both mutually experience everything so I can't just dump a bunch of painful tasks on it. All and all, I get a second brain to work with very few cons since I'm far too much of a blabber mouth to keep anything secret anyways.

This is my body. Not something to share. Its mine. And its staying mine!
And even then, it would mean i'd be trapped in my own mind for two hours daily. Thats literally one of the worst things i could imagine happening...

 

Wouldn't you want to have the body of your dreams just by taking a nap every day? Wouldn't you want all the boys/girls/beasts/tentacles/aliens to checkout your ultra beach bod (that you didn't work for)?

If I had someone else watching my back 24/7 it seems like a good deal to me. Especially when that someone has vested interests in me living a long healthy life.

 

if I was able to give it restrictions on what it does during those two hours and will be aware of what is happening then why not seem's interesting. (^-^)

 

Depends on what it's like. Is it in control everytime I'm mentally tired. Does it keep my secrets as well as I do. After some point I'll just treat it as a second conscious that similarly wants the best for me

 

Hmm...if I get pregnant, would blob be able to transfer to my child’s body? Would that help it regain its powers?
