I think we'd mostly start out with using the headsets and AR displays controlled by the neural implant since it's probably really hard to figure out what parts of the brain to stimulate for what image. But it would be a huge advancement in the market.
As long as it was not in an experimental stage and I could be reassured that it could be safe, I don't see why to reject some stuff that could help my daily life~ ... Well, extra arms would feel weird though, and I wouldn't be able to find clothes that fit properly, so... Just the neural implant thing.
That seems pretty freaky, like the chances of hitting a major vein with those huge needles seems quite high.
I don't want my brain connected to a computer like in Ghost in the Shell. My mind is corrupt enough already.
