Satan was once an angel, named Lucifer, but he fell from heaven as he was corrupted by sin and wished to become God. He was said to have been unbelievably beautiful when he was an angel, but once he became the prince of darkness, he turned into a disgusting beast. The epic poem "Paradise Lost" by John Milton first coined the idea of satan having kept his beauty after the fall. He is also portrayed as a "bad-boy" who is just misunderstood, with him being the victim of God's unjust wrath. While originally he is known as an evil demon, that wishes to consume your soul, and torture you for eternity. Original he was something like this: Spoiler Then it became something like this: Spoiler
So which do you think best represents him? Do you believe Satan is a beautiful anti-angel, that is misunderstood, or do you believe he is dark being that looks to consume your soul? Keyword was represent... I don't know.... Also, would you sell your soul to satan if he was the sexiest person in the universe? You may also include photos of sexy satan/ or what-not, just put it in spoilers. (Im sorry that I put up such a long thread instead of BS) You Know What Screw this question. Too many plot holes. Just type what you want I guess before this gets locked. I give up making legit threads. I'm sincerely sorry for wasting 20 seconds of your time and for giving every grammer nazi a headache....
No, I mean what if he could change his appearance whenever, and decided that an evil goat wasn't cutting it anymore?
First, remove the spoiler for the "Background Information," as it's not needed. Besides that though, your question is clear and understandable.
Yeah My bad, the background information is optional though so I just included it there in spoilers. Also yeah give me a sec to do that. Thread making 101 lol
I guess one could say he’s literally hot~ Okay, I’ll leave. But I got ask a burning question what is this all for?
Actually that first image of Satan is not his first representation. His representation was gradually modified to become like that as a form of "marketing war" against the pagan cultures, if you pay attention you will notice that image has symbolisms from different religions For example the goat head comes and the position he is sitting comes from Cernunnos which is the oldest God from Celtic religion and is mentioned in other religions of the region The pentagram comes comes from the religions which originated Wicca The twin serpents on his lap comes from Hermes/mercúrio and Esculapio which are Greek gods of medicine (if you pay attention it's exactly the same symbol which we still use for medicine) If I am not wrong the thing on his head comes from isis I forgot whose gave origin to his wings tho And that is not to mention the moons And well there wasn't really a mention to him being physically hideous before they started to make him look like gods from other religions to make people hate each other Mooo *Totally hasn't forgotten to.make.the moo*
I know that the first picture isn't a good representation. probably originally closer to this right? May be wrong
