    Why do people wank to netorare?

    Because some people are closet sadists or masochists and just want that pain in the heart.

    Isn't it the same with Netori & Netorase. Just a change in POV.

    But with any of the three NTR stuffs, I just think those are primal part of human DNA. Because the theme/trope is just sexual acts, for dominance/authority and the carnal desire of procreating. The intense desire to commit the act, over logic or sound reason.

    I didn't read the novel but I did watched the movie, betrayed by friend, being imprisoned for false charge, his bride in waiting married the other person, yearly torture in prison. Oh such poor soul.

    I really love tragedy for the emotional flow it brings, much more easily than stories without tragedy.
    Especially since the tragedies are often much more realistic, than the stories where everything goes for the best.

    Nah mate, there's also some humiliation/self-torture going on, the pain of imagining your lover being taken away is addictive, I know because I wanked to it.

    It's also why BDSM is a thing.

    Oh yeah I should have said masochists not sadists.

    Seriously,though I dont recall when I last consumed a Hollywood movie or TV show.
    I am just disillusioned by it all.
    Luckily, there is Chinese and Japanese dramas and sometimes Korean dramas
    I recommend Fake Affair

    Tragedy is more realistic. World aint flowery for just the mc and it’s good because that really makes you feel like the MC is human. It’s usually hard for authors to include tragic scenes with death of people close to the MC without fan backlash though which is unfortunate. A lot of the greatest stories have some elements of tragedy for very good reasons.

    Because Ai-chan is a psychopath. Ai-chan can't really cry and Ai-chan doesn't really have strong feelings other than anger. So reading tragedy is Ai-chan way of trying to understand why some people are cowards and crybabies.
