Discussion Revenge for all that summoning

With the total amount of summonings being done, you would think a modern world would have ample evidence of the kidnapping taking place. If the other world can kidnap without worries, why is there no story of a vengeful, hatred filled earth military invading these worlds? I always wondered about this since kids are being kidnapped.

Imagine: the beautiful garden as the king and aristocrats enjoy the safe capital as the summoned slaves toil away. As a big bright light flashes in the sky... a huge mushroom cloud emerges as....
You get the idea. This might be wish fulfillment but dang that would be sooo nice in some of these summoning novels.

Or

Imagine: summoning several kids to help fight the demon king. As the summoning succeeds and the kids are told what they need to do. BOOM!!!! As a bomb explodes against the castle walls as a loud speaker spews out.... ATTENTION...ATTENTION you are all under arrest for kidnapping!!!!!
As a swarm of military personal with tanks and assault helicopters surround the castle.

Why does earth get the short end of the stick?

why why why does all these writers treat summoning like candy. Isn’t this another form of slavery no matter how “kind” the summoner is? You get pulled into an unknown world where you have to do what they tell you if you want to live - slavery.
You would think if enough children are kidnapped from a world, that world will move hell to figure out and get them back or have revenge. Since summoning can be done from that world, they should be able to figure out something.

Any stories similar? Or any other ideas? Does this have any merit?

Isn’t there a manga that shows the perspective of how some worlds hide it via truck kun

 

There was something more or less like that in 'Gate – Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri'

 

There is a manga about truck drivers who's job is to run over random people for money.

 

Gate was awesome and def deserves another season!

Ahhh, your talking about reincarnations into a new world. I’m talking about summoning so... people are walking and they disappear... mass missing people... no dead bodies.

Within so many summoning stories, you see them disappearing, even in front of people and definitely in front of cameras.

 

It goes both ways.

When people summon "demons", it might just be what you're talking about. "They are inherently evil" and any kind story like that is only the point of view of the summoners, who have the tendency to make stuff up and rewrite history as they see fit like the greedy liars they are.

Even if they're "actually evil", it might just be that the other world arranged it such that the only target of the summonings ends up being only those (maybe-artificial) "evil" beings as some sort of revenge.

Humankind should just nuke itself.

 

Now your going into something else.
Hero summoning is a generally difficult process.
Your talking about summoning as a conjurer and talking about their ethics as a class.

I’m talking about an earth where kids are being kidnapped by other worlds to be either a “hero” or slave.

 

Found the Earth Human Supremacist.

 

For years now children and teenagers have dissapeared in the country wide phenomenon the government calls "spirited away" under normal circumstances the government would be able to appease the public with a quick search and an announcement saying they'd continue to search untill they're found. When all the students of a prestigious academy disappear in a single afternoon the government was trying to think of an explanation when one of the officers found a possible clue. The summoning circle was slowly fading and giving off an unknown energy. After 30 years, billions of yen, and more sacrifices then any government is willing to tell the research and development team safely sent others through there man-made gateway. With this breakthrough in what the researchers call magi-science, they sent there first military squad with two objectives. Scout the otherside, and avenge those who disappeared.

This got kind of boring part way through

 

I mean, in that scenario most authors will usually heck it all and happily say some bs like”oh we use this convenient af magic to make peepo forget you exist there so no worries~” usually because they can. Some try to be less shameless though.

 

Uhh the 'heroes' usually get revenge for themselves when they finally realise they're being taken advantage of. A ton of revenge stories on NU.
Then there are the novels where the heroes enjoyed the journey and then return to Earth.

 

Maybe writing from another world perspective would be more interesting.

The class of 3-A was mysteriously summoned to the world of elceed where the king enslaved them with a simple order. Destroy those who oppose the lenten empire. For nearly 3 years the people of class 3-A had died in the king quest for power. One day the king grew fearful of a revolt and ordered all the students to be killed in a dungeon. In there assault only Damian survived by running deeper into the dungeon before the empire soldiers could catch up. Damian was sitting down after getting some much needed rest when a portal opened up nearby. Damian took out his daggers ready to attack when a camouflaged soldier came through and said two words that changed his life forever "enemy spotted".

 

A few things to note
In the end I decided to make them both separate. Witch is why on one hand the Japanese military had made the gate to avenge those lost while the second story had the American military go through the portal and the student didn't seem to gave a Japanese name

Nice, this could be fun too.
There are many ways that I can see for a story.
There are summoning stories where kids are summoned and mind controlled, forced to fight to get stronger and fight for them. Other stories, females are used and abused and man are made to fight.

• Spirited away stories has existed for millennia. In 1993, a recording from a convenience store showed for the first time an actual spirited away incident causing a massive investigation into missing children. Afterwards, there were more and more recording of children going missing bringing to light this horrifying tragedy happening. In year 2031, the world government created a special device given to every single person on the planet. After years of data received from the device, in 2056 scientists made a breakthrough. An unknown particle was theorized and detected. Known as magic particle, the world government started another massive research into finding the cause and a way to stop people from disappearing. In 2122, they finally achieved another breakthrough. Detecting and stopping a group of school children from disappearing. Once this event was confirmed, a system was made around all the primary cities around the world to prevent disappearance from happening. Of course, people still disappeared from areas without the system. You could write a book in the same veins as world war z with multiple view points from beginning to end.
• John the “hero” has been fighting for many years. Being summoned into this hell hole and being forced to fight, he has finally found a way back. After much hardships, he returns to a world where people are fearful of losing loved ones through this unknown force. Rejoining his family and finding the horrors of missing children, he joins the government special investigative group and proceeds to show them the truth of the missing kids. Working with the abilities from the other world and scientists, they create a new branch of science and proceed to go to retrieve the lost ones and get vengeance for the children stolen.
• God of Earth.... why are those stupid deities stealing my people!!!! Stop taking the children from my world!!!! Working through the priests to earth, a revelation was made to tell the truth of the missing kids. Giving mankind the knowledge of magic, a resurgence of science was made and a new form was created, magitech. Know is the time to shows those stupid kidnappers what my world is about!!!

There are many ways to go about this story. I’ve been hoping to read something like this for a while but nothing so far.

 

I don't know any stories like that, but if I were making the setting, I'd say they already tried and failed miserably because magic>Modern technology. But that really depends on the author~
