The 1º people I would use would be those people that always wanted to be the opposite gender. The 2º group wold be the rapists, the 3º the men who do domestic violence, the 4º would be harem masters (and maybe some of the harem's members), the 5º...... just mess about~

3. Are there any people that you feel like would be cuter as the other gender?
Sure

4. Would you view a friend that you magically genderbent more as their original gender or their new gender?
Both, but would soon get used to the new gender

Not nescesary, but i'll take it. First of all, a bit help for LGBT, then to balance global's population ratios. And then to the Middile East to bend those had idealogy of male superior by turn those jack-ass to female and ... oh wait.

Though this premise actually brings back a lot of memories from my college days... I had very similar conversations with my friends LOL
One of my bffs can be very assertive and sharp-tongued towards rude people and meddlesome strangers (the way she could just cut off convos was amazing) but between friends, she's cute, adorable and funny and all the girls in our group agreed that she was the best boyfriend material out there.

 

If I have that power I probably to try to annihilate human race by changing every male to female. It would be funny if human extinct because of that.

Use the power to make money (although they'd have to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis). And screw over the (male) douchebags who are misogynistic, violent, etc. It's a one-way ticket power, as long as the recipient is aware of the consequences I think that's fine. Isn't that what all transsexuals mentally go through anyway when they make the choice for surgery?

I think there's a wider group of transgender though ... those who don't identify with the sex assigned at birth. Not all of them want to be genderbent. So it would be messed up if you irresponsibly used your powers on them (if you're one of those crazed firebrand Christians) to forcefully assign your perceived heterosexual relationship (man and woman).
i.e. it's not a power anyone should posses.

Not so sure about the reverse though (female to male).
If a "dinosaur" / physically aggressive butch (not sure of the exact terminology used by LGBTQ) became male, would they use their newfound physical prowess to assault females if you didn't vet them? Wasn't there that popular novel a few years ago "The Power" hypothesizing the other extreme, where teenage girls gained superpowers? The final repercussions weren't that perfect either, and toxic behaviors just repeated itself in the opposite direction.

And who gets to decide if someone is "worthy" of being genderbent?

 

You don't need a penis to assault people, so it probably wouldn't make a difference. Unless you mean that they gain muscle? But then they'd need to work for that muscle still, and they might already be stronger than many women.

 

I was not aware gaining "physical prowess" had any meaning other than muscle mass

So I guess female genderbent (or is it male genderbent? ) should be stronger than their former female selves.

I've known some pretty weak men, though. If you made me male, I still couldn't lift heavy objects. On the other hand, women who work out to put on a lot of muscle are rare, so any such female could overpower most others?

4 is harder for me to personally answer. I would absolutely try to use their preferred pronouns, but sometimes I feel like it would be difficult to wash my own brain from the memories I had with them before. That said, I think the respectful thing to do is to 100% support them and care for them if you really do love them as a friend!

5 is a yes! Absolutely! I actually find people who are slightly queer with their genders really attractive. I don't really know how to put it into words, but I do find a slight feminine streak in a guy really enticing. Or that a guy who can pull off a really convincing girl (or vis versa) in terms of acting is attractive to me too.

Yeah this is one of my biggest concerns too!!

Basically by transforming someone, you're basically creating trans people (in the sense that their mind doesn't match their body), and some people can feel a lot of trauma about that.

Consequently, it is quite cruel to change someone against their consent.

I think the reasonable conclusion is that if all these guys wouldn't date a magically transformed girl, then it's even more likely the case that they wouldn't date transgender women.



I dunno! I mean, I'm personally not in the same boat because I think a little bit a queerness in gender expression can be really attractive on men and women... but I think that's my personal taste.
