I had great expectations for it because I was a faithful reader of the novel. https://forum.novelupdates.com/thre...rd-of-unusual-creatures》is-coming-soon.79649/ But now I just hope it never happened. I can't imagine... Even everybody can't imagine it: Why does a seemingly reliable adaptation result in such a disaster? Delete plots that should not be deleted and add useless original plots… Rough paintings… And that terrible dubbing… https://m.bilibili.com/bangumi/play/ss26191 I must have destroyed the Milky way in my last life. I should not have suffered such tortures!
They say the higher the expectation, the greater the fall. So feel bad for you dude. You state that the author still holds the copyrights and guides the anime production... how much you believe is the godamn truth?
I can somewhat relate, I looked forward to 'Wu Dong Qian Kun' drama adaptation (I waited for so long and when it was out, I was disappointed no, more than that I couldn't handle episode 1 it was failure in my opinion )
well the only decent chinese animation were the king avatar so although im fan of the novel, I didn't really have any expectation toward the animation considering just how capitalist china than korea, japan and american which ironically china itself claim that this is socialist-communism. I bet they just try to make it cheap and reap as much profit as possible.
Now, unless they really produce something with similar quality to TKA adaptation storywise, I will never forgive the chinese for ruining the original source I will place my hope in TKA movie adaptation (Glory season 1) as it is already announced to be aired in my country cinema
What do you expect from an adaptation not done by a professional japanese animation studio, all animation studios in China and korea can't animate yet, so it's bound to be terrible. They change the plot so much that it can longer be the original novel except for its name, and they kept saying "creative writing". Edit: voice actors also needs to be trained, drama/movie acting is way different from voice acting.
Other than the animeified girls and the lip sync issues (common in all chinese anime) the story seemed very true to the first chapters. Maybe they should have gone to raven12345 instead of the fluff at the end but I think it is better to have the fluff than have an important plot point split in two.
My primary consent is the reused frame / scene for MC skills activation Beside that, the motion is already fluid enough The chara design is also good, neither too shounen-ish or heavily influenced by BL
Well that’s Chinese anime for ya, even the voice actors suck, I don’t feel any emotion at all. JP actors are always under serious scrutiny for a reason, because they can easily switch the mood and make serious characters
I can't take care of those trivial things anymore... In fact, it's a disaster that should be normal… I shouldn't believe they can do it well, there should never be any expectations.
