Dear people who've actually muscled through this TLM arc that started at around ch293. So, as the thread title says... there's an e-sports mini-arc where I'm at, and it has me contemplating whether or not eating my own elbows would be more enjoyable use of my life, so I'd like to ask if anyone that has read https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-legendary-mechanic/ can spoil me on this arc? I think I'm going to skip the whole boring thing but it'd be nice to know if there's anything important I might miss. Or, you know, I could start eating my elbows.
There shouldn't be anything important. The player's impression of han xiao and mechanic class does improve due to a certain incident
If i remember correctly, France wins. But don't skip it as there is lots of essential plot in those chapters.
skip is fine, coz the arc about competition mainly goes before the end of the next update series, and so yeah, the MC life did not have any correlation with other players, except they gave him experiences points only+making vide of him in the forum, etc [having a little influence on the main plotline at least till currently latest chaps 1046]. Han Xiao life around how he maximize his future knowledge to gain maximize benefit and yeah, author get the hang of himself really well for narration, that comes from me who every 11 P.M waiting qidian updating the next RAW
If you really don’t like it you can skim it. That said, it’s only around 10 chapters so it isn’t that long to get through. But I’d recommend reading it as e-sports stuff happens at the ending of every edition and relevant stuff happens.
this arc was super short anyway iirc, it's just a short pause before MC goes to space. Like it was maybe 10 chapters?... If you kept reading you'd probably have already read more than half of it by the time you read this reply...
I don't think any of it is going to be relevant any time soon because he's on the player break period. There will be more e-sports arcs in the future though so... maybe skim it rather than skip.
I skipped most of the player interactions anyway since the author forces the mechanic class too much for my taste.
I believe he's talking about the first tournament not the second one. I assume the major purpose of these things is to introduce the players who will eventually be the main helpers and competitors of the MC when they catch up to him in levels.
i have to agree with you those fight were so uninteresting, I just read through it really fast by skipping a lot of text to see if something important happened.
The first tournament is meh, just that Hanxiao managed to make China great again by having most of its player base being Mechanic and supplying them the gears to them. The Second and Third tournaments are the ones that worth the lolz. Spoiler Basically Hanxiao can loan out one of his passive skills to the Players, cue said player screwing his opponents by a. Having massive increase in damage output and resistance. b. Having massive boost in health pools to the point of raid boss.
honestly just drop this novel it's terrible this isn't even a proper transmigration novel because he goes into a game!!! and from his interactions, we know that the game world isn't even a "real" world!
Real worlds are overrated and we don't know anything of the sort. We know that he and the players have a game system that affects the world. Otherwise everything seems natural.
