(so many times I made threads about something in general and I get comments as if I'm talking about myself, seriously annoying) Say you've done something bad to your friend, made out with his/her gf/bf or something. You deserve to get punched, do you take it or still defend yourself.
I voted I m a guy and i m gonna defend myself but im pretty sure hes coming with a gun and i ll be dead. In retrospect, If a guy ever stolen a girl (as in consensual sex) from me, both do not deserve any attention from me anyway, coz I know for sure whatever relationship we had were fakes.
Defend. If I knew what I was doing would wrong them then I clearly wouldn't care and won't allow myself to be hit. If I didn't know it would wrong them, then it's a mistake and I don't like being hit.

As someone who takes the relations I am in seriously, something like this would be unthinkable for me to do in the first place. If it happened to me, I would essentially cut the bad fruit from tree.

Cheating is a big no for me. If I were in this situation then there must've already been some kind of shift in the way I think, so I have no clue how I would react. Basically, I don't do things that I think I deserve to get punched for. And if I did, it would be to someone I don't care about, not a friend like in your scenario.
It doesn't have to be a close friend, maybe you were drunk and he/she came on to you. Or something, it doesn't have to be cheating, that's just an easy example.
If it's not someone I'm close to, then I already made the decision to not care about them enough to not do whatever bad thing I did to them. I would've decided when I did whatever I did that it's not something I deserve to get hit over. If this is my close friend I would defend myself, but not hit back and try to pacify them with reason. Imo, being drunk isn't an excuse to be an ass. If it's something I did when I was drunk that I think I would deserve to get hit over while sober, then I would just take the hit here (as long as the harm they're doing to me is within reason).
