I want a novel where the protagonist is lucky. What I mean by that is that luck is an integral part of the story, for example, The Novel's Extra. What I don't want are vrmmo novels with 1/10000000000000000000000000000000 drop rates and the protag getting them. Edit: I want luck, not plot armor. If the protagonist being lucky is established (for example Senior White from Cultivation Chat Group) it won't be plot armor because it isn't coming out of nowhere. It's not a surprise if Senior White finds a treasure, he has a well-established luck aura, the real surprise would be him not finding anything.
I asked for luck not plot armor. Those novels have no real emphasis on luck. If it were to be Senior White from CCG who has a luck aura, then fine. It's part of the story, it's established and in that case it won't really be "plot armor" because it's already established that White has nonsensical levels of luck.
Divine Brilliance has parts where he's studying and using Luck talismans to enhance comprehension or attacks, but afterwards gets backfire accidents from using up all his luck temporarily
Yes it is, and I like it that way. When the author is open about the Universe literally working for the MC as opposed to the "Everyone hates the MC, He has broken meridians, unlucky af" and then bam Heavenly treasure. Not enough? BAM grandpa. BAM Harem.
You need to elaborate more on what you considered as 'lucky', because as far as I know all the elements involving luck is always a plot armor in one way or another and even sometimes at a level of deus ex machina.
Kono Suba is a very fun novel whose protagonist has very underwhelming stats, except luck; he might even be the second luckiest being in the world. This does come into play at several points, but does not shower him with overpowered items or things like that; just that he might be unable to lose at rock paper scissors. https://www.novelupdates.com/series/kono-subarashii-sekai-ni-shukufuku-o/
Actually, there should be a limitation on the ‘luck’ factor. ‘Unbridled’ luck will cause the novel went south really quick, a.k.a. the main character having plot armours at least 100 metres thick. Character-wise, White would be a really bad, even worst main character. There won’t be anything exciting, since his luck would give him whatever he needs, at the cost of someone else. His journey would be smooth sailing, since his luck will ensure no danger throughout the journey.
