Hi, please recommend modern romances that you've enjoyed ^^ I'm also always looking for novels with white lotus or black bellied protagonists (female or male lead okay). I prefer to read BG and I'm especially looking for longer novels I can spend time on. Also, if you have a romance novel that doesn't fit what I'm asking for but you think I might like, feel free to recommend it to me anyways because I've really run out of stuff I want to read lol Here's some novels I like (list isn't exclusively modern romance lol): In which the System Torments the Protagonists: My Wife is My Life! I second this recommendation. Our dear protag is just as black bellied as ML and gives as good as she gets, leaving him frustrated sometimes XD

Rotten Girl is really good, but halfway through, still being updated. She is a fujoshi, got caught by her black bellied boss Flash Marriage- she though he was gay do they got married. Marriage of convenience (not sure if blackbellied)
I am currently reading "Husband is Great Black Belly".- guy is "mild"(not really manipulative) blackbelly and treats the mc really well, so devoted, gosh. Don't be fooled by the title, it sounds cringey and rating is low because of the grammar. But it's extra fluffy and quite hilarious, in fact I had tears from laughing and it felt like my heart Is being twisted while reading. It was so sweet!! Starts when the girl met the guy when she was 14. I wish for a TV adaptation.
