My iPhone is pretty bare as far as games go, I have a few but not many. I’ve seen threads here about waifu collectors and card games but I’m. Or familiar with any good ones. I also like puzzle games, (good) strategy games and the occasional adventure.

got any recommendations for me? I’m basically going to be stuck at home for a while for medical reasons and I can’t read or play other video games or watch TV all the time (first world problems) or I’d be bored quickly.

Oh, you can get...no, that is an inappropriate one to suggest. How about...no...that one is a no go as well. Then how about the series done by...no. damn. Let me see what acceptable games I actually have on my phone...

Solitaire? Sudoku? I got nothing except for perverted games on my phone...

There is a mobile version of Xcom, I never played the mobile version but... It's Xcom so it might fit quite well if you want a good and long strategy game, something else than those thousands of gatcha games that pop up everywhere.

If you're not much of a mobile gamer then I recommend some idle games for you.

AFK Arena - hero gacha game that you only need to get on twice a day to get your resources (gold/player xp/etc)
Ulala: Idle Adventure - rather then multiple heroes you just pick the one. Your one hero will team up with other peoples' heroes to form a team of 4. Which is what makes it different from other idle games as those are usually solo from the start. When you first start out you get on often since you level up so much (optional). However, after say a week or so you can get by getting on 2 or 3 times a day.

Disney Heroes - gacha game for Disney characters. There are a whole lot of gacha games. Even Star Wars and X-Men have mutliple different gacha games. I ended up with Disney as it has the most enjoyment/memories for me.
There are a whole lot of different gacha games. Best to google "best iOS gacha game 2019" and get the reviews on which one to pick.

The Sims Mobile - House building game. I get on once a hour for just a min or 2 to get the gold and daily quests.
Disney Kingdoms - Amusement park game of Disney. Rather very slow and hard to get the characters without paying. It is a very simple building game compared to others as all you have to do is select the character and then pick the quest you want that character to do. Just take me 2 min to set all my characters up.
Township - Its got the whole package. City building, farming, zoo. At the end game you got so many factories that it can take you around 15 minutes at the start of the day to get everything going. Only recommended if you want to play one farming/city building mobile game.

Mario Kart - Very recently came out. Pretty sure most people have tried this game in some system or other.

Clash of Clans - The Supercell game. Strategy I suppose if you haven't tried it.
Clash Royale - Another Supercell game.
Brawl Stars - Another Supercell game.
Boom Beach - Strategy heavy Supercell game.
Yes, I recommend the Supercell games.
The farming game Hay Day is okay. However, compared to Township it is lacking variety/content.

A game that is coming out that I'm looking foward to is.
    GWENT: The Witcher Card game.
    Made by CD Projekt.
Looks to be about 2.6 GB for the mobile version. The PC version is out already.

Plants vs Zombies 2 - a freemium game worth trying if you enjoyed the first one.

    Here's the side notes:
    - if you intend to dive deep into the world of collection game( including gacha game) then at most you should pick 2 out of all those for your own time & sanity. Trust me, these will be gacha hell, one way or another.
    - Only spend if you really want that character/units/gears that you'll devote yourself in using them for the rest of your salty journey.
    .
And with that out of the way, here's my list. I'm not playing much but at least i'm sure my taste is unique enough for you. And some of these need to be pirate version to play, abeit some function multiplayer is locked( but since those games lacks multiplayer you'd rather play campgain only 4 more interesting replay value).
    - Anomaly 2. Though if you find this hard, i suggest you play it prequel, Anomaly: Warzone Earth or Anomaly Korea.
    - Galaxy On Fire 2. A good game and your pocket sandbox space shooter with everything packed in less than 1.3 GB. A good game that can compare to E.V.E Online( PC games).
    - Azur Lane. Best F2P friendly. Better version of KanColle with a complex system hid behind simple tutorial.
    - Honkai Impact 3. DMC Yuri Anime version. Though if you can withstand the salt long enough (4 me is 2 years) then you can be some of the best player without paying any cash for those B-chips or Crystals. Had a decent storyline, and most stuff are free( depend on your hardwork to earn them).
    .
That's my recommendation. Good luck my friend.
