I miss JP LNs. Sigh. We hardly get any manga translations as well due to licensing. It’s hard out there now

 

Yeah, remembering the day that I frequently check baka-tsuki for update everyday, hahaha my first novel there is campione/hidan no aria/high school dxd, really forgot which 1st but pretty sure these are 1 of my 1st novel that I read.

Though i really miss an epic fighting LN story without isekai element, nowadays it hard to find that.

 

The perfect place to think in the modern era: the toilet. Anyways, I think it's good that some stories are getting published so that authors can earn more money. I don't remember what brought me to Baka-Tsuki. Maybe it was Haruhi Suzumiya LN?

Baka tsuki was amazing, people translating together and discussing what light novels they liked the most. Kaze no stigma was pretty slow to get translated since the anime covered most of it but it there was still hope. Such a shame what happened to the author though.

 

I just remember initially discovering light novels was a thing. The first one I started to read I do not remember, but I was younger and quite addicted to whatever shounen harem comedy series came out (Campione! was my favorite). Nowadays if I read those, I take what I used to adore with a grain of salt but I can’t seem to dislike them for any particular reason.

I started reading online stuff back when Chrome Shelled Regios was still in its first few volumes being released many years ago. Nostalgia indeed but both fiction and the format of how we’ve read it has evolved into the standards we now have.

 

Kaze No Stigma was my 3rd anime ever to watch (technically first), the first two being DragonBall Z and Naruto of course. Still love it to this day, based off my pic I bet you could tell. My next anime to watch was Darker than Black then HoTD....I honestly don't know how I got into anime tbh.

 

What is OG? OG Mudbone? Yeah, sad he passed away. He once offered Ai-chan a job to debut as a pornstar on his website. Ai-chan was really tempted to accept the offer back then. We met on yahoo messenger.

As for Baka-tsuki, Ai-chan read Zero no Tsukaima mostly. Too bad the author passed away. It was a very enjoyable read.
