Heya everybody!~ @lychee has been posting quite a few threads about this or that lately, and I felt like joining in a bit! Though, giving the thing my own spin, as I like to try :'p This will be the first Nuffian Inquiry, and should be setting the tone for what I intend it to be. Not about anything serious or big, but more focusing on the small details! In this case; is there a difference in the ratios of dominant hands amongst nuffians compared to the world at large? Roughly 90% of Humanity is right handed, with about 10% being left handed and 1% being ambidextrous - yepp, thats what happens when you round too much! - but how does that compare to NUF? And why? As always, thanks for reading and participating, hope you enjoy this thread!~ *waves*
I am right handed lol... I can type on phone with my left hand and do some other tasks but cannot write with it...
I’m right handed! Although there’s lots of non writing tasks where I’m equally comfortable using my left hand as well. (I remember in one case in “Detective Conan,” the killer was found by which hand he/she used to dial a phone number. And here I was thinking, “but I’m just as likely to use my left hand as my right...?” Well, that’s less the case now, as the phone screen is too big for me not to use both hands to dial now, or at least not have one hand supporting the phone. (iPhone 7) I miss the comfortable size of the iPhone 5...)
RIght handed like the majority but I've always wanted to try to train myself to be ambidexterous. Well for most tasks except for the more finer ones such as writing and drawing I can use both equally
I am Left handed. I can do most stuff with my right hand too (except writing, which depending on the day ranges from atrocious scribbles to slow but readable) but there are clear preferences for every task. That being said I am pretty sure not ambidextrous.
I'm left handed! While I do do some tasks with my right hand or the way right handed people do things like eating (fork&knife holding), but thats more a thing about experience than advantage...
*nods* While this isn't something that always happens, but humans are in general a very habbit forming species! In general it might not be noticable, but if we were to count when we use which habd for a specific action, especially if its something small, there will be a difference. If you look at only one thing it might be seen as a coincidence, but this should apply to a wide range - depending on the person, of course - of things! ...Left pawed! Left!
.....you would be surprised what all is optimized for right handed use with no or very few left handed variations, that people dont even realize
Right handed but i rely on both While typing both hands are must For heavy lifting left, for detailed things right
....I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be more surprised that simpsons did that or about the guy who did xD
