Ai-chan and Ai-chan's dude and dudette sat down for a movie just now and we ended up watching Wanted. Yeah, that Wanted with curving the bullets. At some point Ai-chan's dude told Ai-chan to "Just watch the goddamned movie or make me some sandwitches."

It can't be helped! The entire idea of 'curving the bullet' is so inane, stupid and illogical.

Not even a fighter jet is able to 'curve the bullet'! How can a human being do that? For the record, 'curving the bullet' has nothing to do with adding extra spin to the bullet, thank gods they didn't even try that. But instead, it's the ability to make the bullet go around a target to strike a target behind it.

How can Ai-chan be silent about that stupidity? If a human being have the strength and agility to do that, he'd also have the strength and agility to punch a 4th generation fighter jet flying in the air to death with his bare fists! We don't know enough about the performance of 5th generation fighter jets to say with certainty if Wesley can indeed punch a 5th generation fighter jet to death in mid flight.

Trying to be different or bombastic is fine, but thinking the audience is dumb is not. It is the same argument that people who watched La Llolita had said. What other bullshit has movies tried to feed you?

I guess the premise idea comes from baseballs curve ball. Just taken to the extreme. I mean if everybody could do it. It wouldn’t be that special.

It is kinda ridiculous, but entertaining none the less.

Why not? It’s perfectly logical. Especially if you read the book.

The DNA was incomplete so they did not technically make dinos instead they made mutants based on dinos . This is not a fan theory btw it was stated in the first movie with that DNA version of Clippy.

Clearly he didn't actually make the bullet curve no he changed the shape of the world around him! Bent it so that the bullet was still travelling in a straight line however it just appears curved to the viewer similarly to how straight lines on the globe appear to curve!

And don't forget the "call the whole fleet to commit suicide" without even anyone chickening out or using their brains to call a retreat or someone telling that psychopath he's nuts.

Talking about the movie. If u Google "Jurassic Park extracting DNA" or something similar, you'll know why. For ex, here's a link: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/jurassic-world-can-we-really-resurrect-a-dinosaur/.

Still too farfetched. The link above talks about this (frog DNA). BTW, thanx 4 letting me know this.

Exorcist movies. If demons existed then some priest from some backwater town obviously can't exorcise a demon like Lucifer with only a cross and repeating the same line like an old man with Alzheimer's

Wait, if you could warp space like that, why not just warp the space your enemy is in and kill them that way? :hmm:

The book was better, but is it that hard to believe. Let me ask you what age group is the best players in the world are at? If you had to choose between a wet navy admiral. Who has never once fought anyone in space. Or a kid who has fought thousands of battles in simulation space battles and has never loss. Who would you pick? Forget the sociopathic tilt for a second. In a life and death battle what matters in the end is results. War isn’t something to hold hands and sing happy songs around a camp fire. It’s serious and deadly action. To think otherwise is a death sentence. Personally I don’t know why they don’t do that now using drones.

Yes. He literally ordered an entire fleet to ram a planet. Do you know that it would mean casualties for the fleet was 100%? No survivors. If you can find me someone who will follow an order like that, I'll show you an idiot.

Moral issues? Because it is traumatic shit to tell underaged to pull the trigger and say you just killed a person/ community full of people.

Ender's game sort of shows us what happen when we decided to
    A. Treat war like a fucking game and deaths as numbers as murder is just a button away
    B. Let kids whose psychology has not been fully matured to commit murder "in the name of the greater good"

In terms of efficiency, I will pick the kids, but will sort of remain the whole "it's a fucking game" until they get old enough to accept that they had been killing people. Because I sure as shit don't think like a cold xianxia elder who literally just shove MC into death's maw and say shits like "if he dies, he dies."
