I would like to ask you a single question- have you ever watched a south indian film because the amount of bullshit in those movies is 10 times more than this
Hell yeah this might become my most liked post and I will no longer have that cursed garfield one be first!
Curving the bullet path is actually true you know? It's just that the path deviates so little that it's neglectable.
Imagine boomerangs in smaller form with extra power because of gunpowder. A curved bullet may seem unfantomable, illogical or or something from imagination but its not the most unbelievable thing out there. But yeah, In my opinion, the movie does looks ridiculous. Not watching it.
Good example. Well this is science fiction, not science fact. As to your example it’s not saying it can’t be done. It’s saying how difficult it would be. It’s possible with the right equipment and a little bit of luck it’s possible to creat a hybrid creature. That looks like what we perceive to be dinosaurs. Technology is funny like that. What we think is solid truth. Can be turn over the very next day.
You're asking how Professor X is able to bend bullets? In the presence of God, Lara Croft, and Starlord?
Yup. That what most of the best novels out there do. It makes you think and question yourself. Will the end justifies the means.
Well, movies about aliens basically. Like, really? You humans are funny for thinking aliens actually exist and that the military is hiding their existence. Of course, we all know that it is bullshit from fictional movies, right?
But it is a pretty contrived situation. You're telling me that not a single person objected to send an entire FLEET into a suicidal ramming attack on a planet? Or that fatalities will be TOTAL? Not counting the Buggers, you're literally telling close to a hundred thousand men and women serving in the navy to commit suicide. And not a single objection....
Pearl Harbour? Basically every terror attack ever? Soldiers sacrificed themselves for the "greater good" all throughout history
^ Brainwashing and xenophobia are used extensively in authoritarian or militarised societies for this exact reason. It's also why it's completely logical for things such as the warhammer 40K exterminatus!
You know there have been hundreds, if not thousands of battles of armies charging to their death. It’s a lot easier to point out everything, especially from hindsight. Desperate battles are like that. You never go into battle expecting to win decisively, with no casualties. That’s just fantasy and unrealistic. Besides those soldiers were never coming back. Just the shear distance would have made that troublesome. No. They we’re dead men walking. As to following an idiot. What sane person would want to charge up a hill with bullets flying at you. Or onto a beach head with artillery landing, with machine guns firing. Fighting a war is not for those who can’t see reality.
