Wasn't there Arena of Valor that is released by tencent(who owned Riot) and used the same engine as LoL already? I guess they want to capitalize on the name huh.
It’s a bit sad and strange Senna is being shoved in while they are promoting all this stuff. Senna has been a teaser idea for about 5-6 years now. And she isn’t getting any light to shine with this spilling of all this new stuff.
Honestly as a short one day player and having a friend who really loves playing it.. I see AoV as their benchmark and a test to see what they can do to LoL when they bring it to mobile. I have not seen any news on AoV aside from its launch, shows that their focus has gone to making this new LoL for mobile instead.
I think Wangzhe Rongyao (Honor of king) is quite popular in China. But outside China, Mobile Legends is more popular than AoV, especially in Southeast Asia.
I'm honestly surprised they're making a hero shooter game. Seems like they're really trying to push Blizzard out of the way. New hero shooter to go against Overwatch. Legends of Runeterra to go against Hearthstone. And bringing LoL to mobile while Heroes of the Storm is in a dying state. And now that I think about it, that one game looks like Diablo.
true. but as long as they don't pull the Valve and make it b2p as well as additional p2w. they will be fine
Riot leaves nothing to the imagination, don't they? Spoiler: rant Ambition aside, I don't want a fast-food gargle of games. They bound to reuse a lot of the assets and creative writing and end up like ubisoft. Not to mention their lacking expertise. Only TFT mobile and CTG seems decent. The rest are buckshot seeing what sticks. It's disappointing, really.
