Resolved A novel about an overpowered defence skill

    My memory of this novel is hazy at best but I remember it was good so if anyone knows what it is please tell me.

    So the mc has a “system” of sorts in which he can buy skills. He got lucky for one of his first skills called something along the lines of “adamantium &@$”
    This skill negates 50% of all damage and he upgrades it 2% or so at a time.

    I realise that description was vague but that’s all I remember.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Do you remember if it was Korean/Chinese/Japanese?
    Is the MC a solo guy or forms a group early on?
    Is the MC physical-focused, magical, or both?
