What myths about the creation of the world exist in Daoism? since it is a subject related to cultivation novels it is important to understand them better (or rather, the concept of cultivation comes from Dao after all).

The only Daoist myth of world creation I know is the Pangu myth.
If my memory doesn't fail me, I remember that In Desolate Era, the Pangu myth is described "that in absolute nothingness there were several coatic energies erratically intertwined that condensed into a cosmic egg from which Pangu was born. Pangu did not like that the energies were united in a chaotic way, he split them with an axe separating the energies into positive and negative. And when he was finished, he died tired and the different parts of his body became the heavens and the earth, and according to his wishes, his daughter Nuwa step to rule the world and lead their gods."

Read The Spiritual Attainment of Ming He for a great retelling of the creation world!
