Discussion Favorite Arc in a Novel?

For me its the Pill Hall Arc in AGM. Damsel in distress make great sacrificial lambs and i love seeing the main character go from being a good guy to an anti hero bent on revenge.

What are some of your favorite arcs?

 

Maybe not "the" favorite, but at least one of them: Leylin infiltrating the God's World and starting his own cult with his clone in Warlock of the Magus World.

 

The Harem's reunion Arc and beating the «hero» into a pulp in Sono Mono Nochi Ni.

And the reunion of teacher-students with the kowtow recognition in Library of Heaven's Path.

 

the brick...... it's not arc but it is funny.... I forget was it true martial world or what story.... even after I drop story I still remember funny thing about the dao of the brick.... pu..

as for other nothing pop up atm....

Beating the prince and killing all his followers including MC ex-girlfriend in Sage Monarch

 

The True Martial World does have the tournament arc where the MC uses a brick.

 

I really like Curb-stomping Arc and showing his strength arc at Tsuki ga Michibiku

 

Which brick. The one in LOHP or the one in Upgrade Specialist?

Demon continent arc in Mushoku Tensei (anime hype!!!!)

 

Also... there's the whole Northern War Front Camp in TMR with badass Chu Lian demonstrating «Hubby» how she's caring and different from the one in the book and that she's not just a weak doll.

And the First Seafaring/Naval Tour arc in TWO (before the whole silver hand and academics trying to step down on mc was revealed)

The whole Movie and Tractor Race Arc in CCG (remember, if you don't seek death you won't die)

 

If it's talking about the Dao of Bricks, probably True Martial World. In Upgrade it's just one of his main weapons while in TMW it's a joke

 

I like any Arc that involves a happy go lucky Mc suffering due to his stupid decisions.

 

My favorite one is the Cat Arc

 

Whats the name of the novel with this arc?

 

I think my fav arc is the one in TMW when Yi Yun being hunted because protecting his fey sister from being killed. Its really heartwarming...

TMW's school arc that took place at the
ISSTH alchemy arc where Meng Hao infiltrated the Violet Fate Sect to learn alchemy
RI when Wang Lin became a mortal carpenter to try and understand the Dao
CCG with the immortal feast + movie making arc
and HN1F's disciple recruiting arc, when Lin Feng had to BS his way through everything and get these MC's to acknowledge him as their master
but most favorite arc for me is probably in My Death Flags Show No Sign of Ending, when Harold had to be Erina's guard while they were at her brother's engagement party
