I recently came across this term, even after being a fujioshi for a long time. I mean NO offence in any way to any gender and it is a genuine question...do fudanshi really exist or is it only a myth? It is not so difficult for us, girls, to admit that we are yaoi fan but that may not be the case for boys to be so open about being a yaoi fan...or is it? Edit: Are fudanshis straight men/boys?
@Nyann, I think you know of more fudanshi than me. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is @Squady. But I haven’t had my tea yet. I know I know more.
Hmm... Well if the atmosphere is liberal enough, imo, guy or girl, admitting you like bl isn't a problem. Those who find it outrageous will find either of the gender as "homo" in a bad way if they read bl In nuf yeah, there are.
I liked boku no pico. not exactly a fan of most yaoi since i hate drama but if it's fluffy i'd consume it. but I'm straight..... yet.
Isn't fudanshi are for guys who likes lesbians making out? While guys who likes BL are just plain old gay.
I don't know about the term fudanshi, but I've heard of people liking that. I don't know the term for yuri lovers, but I know of people like that.
I just read any genre if it is good. in the past, the yaoi genre felt fresh and new to me and in consequence, I read it a lot. then I got tired of it and nowadays I only read it if is of good quality.
No!!! I am straight as a steel beam...ma-maybeYes...xD obviously any young person is interested in their own sexuality. like thinking, maybe I am gay and I don't know it and then test it scientifically...
