Yep, the most interesting part about the two new chapters are the throwaways... 1) Royal family is incredibly powerful and rich. 2) Ain acts like a “black hole” for mana.
It'd be fine if he actively consumes stones i guess. I'm thinking foul play with the holy knight's mother, like another country or church. MC ends up seen as the villain.
He was told in manga (ch5) that he can absorb mana unconciously/conciously by neko princess and because he absorbed some mana from the female bodyguard's mana stone otw to the castle. (That was his racial skill) Oh and every demi-human citizens in his country has mana stone inside them. He has a potential to become the next Demon King if he lost his mind.
