I'm currently finding it very difficult to read anything because novels tend to become really repetitious w/ the same tropes and such as they continue. So I'm looking for novels which are really different and may hold my interest? Or I'm looking for novels with anti-hero main characters because I feel a lot of the time hero characters make the stupidest decisions. So I'm looking for an intelligent protagonist that won't be like, "Oh, their's an extremely suspicious hole in the ground and my spidey-senses are telling me not to go in." *goes in anyways and almost dies* 17 chapters later. "Oh wow it's another wacky hole with a 1,000,000% chance of death, let's go in again..."
unorthodox novels with non-stupid protagonists: Mushoku Tensei kino no tabi Spice and Wolf magdala de nemure hai to gensou no grimgar Youjo Senki Tatakau Shisho book girl Even a Cicada Becomes a Dragon If Reborn Overlord Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatte Iru Rakuin no Monshou alderamin of the sky I also recommend ryogho narita's works: (ensemble cast, not a single protagonsit) Baccano! Durarara!! Vamp! Etsusa Bridge
