Guard Feng told MC that there was no relationship.. and this time, MC was sure that guard Feng was telling the truth. Then, she asked if she had heard the name Su Xueyi. Half a month had passed and it's almost MC's birthday, however it coincides with the school's annual bonfire party which will he held the day before her birthday. It's the day MC planned to book a ticket to go back home. It was said that not all students are eligible to participate, only those selected by the professors and the official school leaders can participate in the celebration together. MC was preparing to book a ticket when she suddenly received a call from Prof Lin. He only have 10 slots for the party and she was one of them. These slots are only limited and can't be changed once he determined the students to give them. MC felt sat because she can't go home anymore to celebrate her birthday for two days as she had promised ML, and wondered if he will be mad at her. She called him to let him know that she's not going to be able to go back that weekend because of the bonfire party, so she'll just go back next month. ML had a lot of questions about this party.. like if it's a grand celebration that will require her to wear a dress (MC: no need to wear dress since it's not a grand celebration), if all students will participate (MC: no only selected students), how many of them (MC: about a hundred).. He was really upset and asked her if she really needs to go to this bonfire party with a hundred of people.

The bonfire party was held at 6:00 p.m. on the riverside not far from T University. The four roommates were actually chosen to participate at this event. MC took this opportunity to take a photo of Su girl together with the other girls, then she sent it to guard Feng. At 9:00 p.m. that same evening, ML was outside the apartment (I think it's the house he had arranged for MC to live in T City, but I don't think it was not mentioned if MC told him that she stays at the dormitory/VIP room) and found that MC hasn't come back yet. She tried to struggle but it didn't help as she became numb and had fainted afterwards.

MC woke up in a dark room, she was lying on a wide bench. Her hands behind her back was tied tightly under the bench and her feet were tied at the other end of the bench, so she couldn't move and can't talk as well (they put something on her mouth, maybe duck tape). It was so dark and she even thought that her rebirth was just a dream, that she may still be in the dark endless past.. then she heard some foot steps so she pretended to still be asleep. There were two guys and one of them talked about trying to play with her first or r*pe her, but the other guy told him that the instructions to them is to just tie her up for some time then bring her to an underground trading bar. They are going to sell her there and it was actually Su girl who hired them. MC offered to double the offer just to let her go, but they asked for more. They even handed her a blank check and threatened her to sign it. I think one guy offered a knife to her for $5 million which she agreed to, so he gave the knife and she signed the $5-million check. They are still going to do the plan because there are people outside that was monitoring them.. but they gave an opportunity to MC to save herself, although it's up to her if she'll be able to cut off the rope and untie herself, and to get away from them.

Outside the largest underground bar, Su girl was there watching how the guys handed MC to the bar. Then she received a call from her cousin. They talked about the plan of not killing MC, only to ruin her. It turned out ML already warned the Su family so this cousin Su was grounded by her father and sent this Su girl to do the bad deeds. I think she was inside a car because another car bumped to them.. but instead of going out, she asked the driver to drive away.. but the car followed them and collided with them again. Then she became afraid seeing ML came out of the other car.

Inside the underground bar, someone agreed to buy MC.. I think he was thinking of playing with her for two days and she will be sold off to the Philippines.. then she was thrown off to the basement where she had used the knife to cut the rope. No one was guarding outside but the door was locked.. then she used a hair pin to unlock it. It was mentioned that she learned a lot from everything that happened to her in the past. Good thing that the basement has a wooden door and the lock is very simple single lock. She was able to get out of the basement room, however she was caught again. The buyer was angry.. she was also thrown too hard where her head was slammed on the wall. Then here comes ML with the police to the rescue and MC was so surprised to see him there. The buyer had a good beating and MC even stabbed his hand. It was the same hand that had almost touched her. I think she kept stabbing that guy and ML just let her vent for a while and then stopped her, because the police are banging the door outside (ML asked to close the door when they came to deal with the buyer). He took the knife from her but she somehow lost her mind at that moment. ML tried to calm her down but she was still struggling. ML then whisper to her ear: "I will let them pay the price they deserve, so you need to calm down now. You need to rest, you have to go to see a doctor because you are wounded. Don't let me worry, okay." Then he brought her out of that place. On the way out, he put the police in charge and even threatened the owner for making a move on MC.

One of the doctors explained to ML that she's very emotionally unstable and won't let them touch her. ML then approached MC, but she just curled up and won't lift her head. ML was with her all through the night, holding her hands.

MC then woke up and tried to familiarized with her surrounding. She tried to remember everything that happened last night, not sure if it was a dream or something. But when she touched the wound on her forehead, she suddenly screamed and panicked. ML rushed back to the room. He told her that he had to come to T City since she can't come back for her birthday. She hugged him and whispered 'Thank you'. Then she thought how will she face him if something bad happened to her, if her body was defiled at the bar. Thinking of how many people have touched her a few times last night, even if it's not the key part, she still felt very uncomfortable. ML then helped her to the bathroom to take a bath.

MC was able to calm down and carefully thought about what happened yesterday. Since she was still scared thinking about what happened in the basement, her thoughts focused more on Su girl. MC became calm and tried to consider so many things. Recently, she's been getting hurt and they are all related to someone in Los Angeles. Then she asked ML about Su girl's background. What's her purpose of ruining her? Was there any other plans? She also asked guard Feng if she had checked about her as well since she sent a picture of her yesterday. ML asked guard Feng to go out first and then asked MC what she wanted to know. So, she asked him if Su girl is his fiancee in the US but ML said no. MC was really angry and could not wait to dig and find out who this woman hiding in the dark. She then locked herself in the room.. They actually had a small fight here because ML asked her to open the door, but she told him that she had a headache and wanted to be alone for now.. that she didn't want to talk to him.. then she fell asleep.

When she woke up, she realized that ML didn't come into the room after all and she noticed that the surrounding or the whole apartment was so silent. When she opened the door, she found a lot of roses on the ground. There are heart-shaped flowers and 21 cakes. The first cake is white which represents a pure white innocent angel at the age of one, and then the color of the cake gradually deepened from white to pink to red.. the last one is color red representing marriage. MC realized that she had lost her temper and even forgot about her birthday.
