Many point out action scenes, but as the Canipa Effect pointed out expressions are even more important in drawing you in. I have to admit that I didn't care so much for the action in Konosuba. It definitely was not why I like it. I always enjoy Canipa Effect videos. I did learn some unsavory things about the team behind the show that was done under a pseudonym, it was a good laugh I have to admit. Well, the explosions were covered. Let's not forget that. It was quite fitting how they got an explosion fanatic to animate a show with a character thats also an explosion fanatic lol. Enjoy! You can also write posts like the one and get compensated
A bit empty here, eh? Change thread title to Why Boobs are so great and a bit on Konosuba and see replies flood in!
The thing I was unhappy about while watching konosuba adaptation was the constant shoe horning of fanservice : stupid bouncy boobs everywhere, pants view (low angle cam pointing right under a skirt) and boob window view (unpractical high angle cam droping far into a cleavage) during exposition scenes or gags, etc... The gags and overall animations of the characters was very good but it felt like I was desperatly trying to hear somebody telling me a fun joke or an interresting story while he was slapping my face repetitively with laced panties and bras ... If you are more interrested in the story or the jokes than the fanservice abuse than it get very frustating if it like this for every episode of a double court (I even stopped watching the OAV twice and had a hard time finishing them because I was fed up of this).
...did @Wujigege specifically create this thread so that people like myself will go click on his blogspot so as to increase traffic flow and thus ad revenue?
I somehow never got Kono...But I got Cautious Hero...because her boobies were bigger! Watch episode 4...some hilarious visual gags on the effects of boobies on slipstreams.
I havent watched Konosuba. But i think i get whats with it that everyone likes. Its Darkness ftw. Megumin and Aqua are overrated.
It's the top isekai, both in anime community and light novel community, both international and Japan itself, because it's fun, nothing more nothing less.
I always felt that in Konosuba's case, it was mockery towards the established formula of more bits=more Japanese people watching = more cash while of course, making use of said formula to roll in that same dough.
