I'm looking for good active/complete fanfics or fanfic quests. It's so hard to find nice gems. Really would appreciate also learning of well-known, long-running ones I've not discovered like how I've just found The Light of Our Solus. I enjoy wishful-fulliment as much as others, I just want one written well enough to make me not care or notice. Just a realistic (believable and with developed depth kind, not the needs to have forced flaws, tradegy, and MC makes stupid mistakes and call that being real and having character kind) and likable MC with good writing, developed relationships, and a fun setting and plot. I'm fine as long as the MC isn't some massive lucky yet cowardly and bland weakling, a badly written obvious self-righteous wishfulliment protagonist, or an angsty powerhungry villain/antihero. I just want an escapist story that does what stories do best: immersing me in the fantasy and sweet little lie that the characters, their relationships, and their conflicts and struggles matter and that I should care. Just something enjoyable, happy/fluffy, that I can binge. Long, active, character focused.
