News Three Licensed Korean Novels from Meteor Strike Media

    As the title says, Meteor Strike Media has licensed these 3 Korean novels. We won't be adding anymore to the lineup for the remainder of 2019, but we already have some other exciting series planned to drop later in 2020 (some of which I know many people are waiting for). You can already find chapters for World's Greatest Militia, Fallen Monarch, and Re: Survival on NU.

    Anyway, I hope that the NU community and KR novel lovers everywhere will enjoy these stories. It also seems important to mention that these novels are free to read as of now, and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Their authors are extremely happy that they're finally reaching English readers. I hope that we can announce more good news in the future. Until then, enjoy.

    The first two are too cliche sounding for me. Not a fan of zombie stories personally and the last one just seems sorta dull.


    perhaps a future release will catch my interest.

    Which novel? The three of them are pretty different in terms of story and setting.

    the first story basically just sounds like yet another "the world is ending and only this 1 person has magically awakened the power to save it" there is a trope for this that I forget the name to...

    It, along with other things, is still in the works. We have novels coming in 2020 that are taking priority over pushing for a quicker purchase of SSS-class. We do want to get it licensed eventually, but we have to prepare for the current 2020 lineup first.

    It's not that no one is interested in restarting the project, they just can't.
    The reason why other groups haven't picked up the series is because the Korean publishers requested it to be stopped.

    Whoever wrote those summaries needs to be smacked since they read like something you would find for a dime-a-dozen Chinese novel.

    Writing an interesting back-of-the-book synopsis is not a lost art. There are many examples of what works under the more professional Japanese, Korean, or Chinese works...

    I am hoping this too.

    Korean novels: 1 MC grinding solo over and over.

    Chinese novels: MC face slap everyone like some angry villain then flees to a new area and repeat the same thing.

    Japanese novel: loser MC turned powerful with a plot device but ended up as beta MC with a bunch of harem and a lolicon fetish.
