I honestly don't know where is this thread meant to be... please help if I'm wrong... https://msvijaya.blogspot.com/ ^the website I'm currently having problems with. pop ups appear 25 times at once, pop ups appear when I click the link to the next chapter, sometimes when I'm halfway through the chapter, the site reloads and there goes my reading progress. sometimes the site force stops too, or just glitches and hangs. am I the only one facing this problems and is there any way I can solve it? I'm currently feeling extremely annoyed after using this site to read for nearly a whole day.
I tried but I dont know what works. and just for more info, that site is taking over my browser 囧 I'm on this page then suddenly it jumps to that site which is on another tab and has an ad that sounds oddly suspicious. "congratulation samsung user"... it says.
Disable javascript. Most browsers have this option built in so it won’t require third party programs, it’ll block the ads and stop them from redirecting you, but some sites need it to function and can break other features.
I dont know what you mean but does it state something along the lines of... "pop-ups blocked(25)"? but there are other problems I'm facing and what is javascript?
i just tried that link, with triple adblockers plus inbuilt browser protection, and it still redirected. Fortunately, the site it redirected to was a harmless car video site. a horde of pop-ups (40+) were blocked though.
JavaScript is code that sites use. There’s html and similar codes to make the foundation and then javascript is used for stuff like pop ups, an option dropping down after hovering mouse over, etc. Javascript being disabled will make it so you can only see the barebone site, which includes text so you can still read the chapter and interact with buttons like next chapter. Look up how to disable it in your respective browser.
I disabled javascript and went on that site and the only issue I met was a single video ad still playing but no redirects or popups.
sounds useful... I use internet for my English novels... does this mean I wouldn't be able to access the site? I am a good user of novel updates! I probably advocate non aggregator sites! I use internet and from my phone...
"adblock browser" for android is what i use and work well(never had to deal whit pop up or ads anymore).....it's firefox with adblock, but the only issue with that it's consume too much battery compared to other browsers.....
