Australia has a military? I thought it was decimated by an army of Chocobos in the Great Emu war of 1932.

Dont underestimate emus. They can kill, just like almost everything else that's not human in Australia. Everyone would lose to emus at that time.

The second link truly triggers me, my country is now fucked up because we lost our history, not only once, but twice, now I have to crawl up to the internet just to learn various things.

haha imo it typical case generalization toward one aspect on education, specifically what kind of history CHILDREN should learn

imo there should be graded based on hmm difficulty?
history on elementary, middle and high school should be different on deep despite it contain same material

    example
    on elementary, world war happen
on middle, there multiple fronts and faction
on high school, statistic for victim, genocide happen, prelude of cold war, some important battle
university level, learn whatever you want to learn for that subject cuz you mentally better than high school children~

    imo quite simple
now anyone kind enuf to share how you learn history when you on school?

based on that article it seem there problem on hmm UK education for history~ can't comment cuz this cat not learn on UK school~

it can turn to interesting subject depend on how we do it

while thats a reasonable method to go with that I should normally support, that is the UK's policy on topics like science, and it's annoying to learn each year you were lied to in the previous one and "that this is how things actually work".

as a general overall concept for history, it serves to let people know more about what happened but they cannot test you for your knowledge that way until the final years, and people tire of learning the same stuff over and over.

An ideal system would have students pick between a selection of topics they have an interest for in their first year and then choose to either change or further their study specification each year afterwards. For people to learn as much as possible they need to be interested in the subjects being taught or it'll go in 1 ear and out the other. As subjects like history cannot have their "truth" separated by levels, it would make sense to hold the classes for students regardless of which year group they are in.

Because who is to say which part of history is best learned at a certain age? In a certain order? Unless the aim is to brainwash students in a specific frame of mind that's easier to sort/control.

So for the UK which goes Year7-11(or possibly +12-13 if not leaving for an apprenticeship or specialist college) classes on say Renaissance Italy, or Industrial Revolution Germany, or Medieval/ Victorian/Georgian Britain should contain students from all year groups to promote the social interaction they will see at a university or in the workplace and better understand and educate as a whole. Do this so they teach 3 different subjects in a years span, 1 subject at a time per class.

No, you need to say something!

Anyway, Germany would love it if people would forget about World War 2. They've been censoring Hitler's face and banning Germany's representation in a computer games depicting World War 2. What this means is not that WW2 Germany isn't depicted in computer games, but you can't play as Germany and all WW2 Germany's depictions can only be demonized and not humanized.
