Hmmm... what kind of genderbent? Like ranma style? switching? or stuck? I would be hella interested in being an aquatranssexual. Also it just seems intriguing in general.. lets go with the wierd boon instead of have some messy limiter involving fate. ...also lover and spouse have different meanings.

Yea... if I really loved em. but circumstances change and im fairly sure there isnt a one true love thing. The problem here remains in remaining sexually attractive. its not sexy to hold a past thing together with someone against that someone to try and get them to have sex with you when its not...

cfhdfhv arranged marriages can just go die. Dunno, depends on the practicality. I mean, whats the point... if the other person got reincarnated as a rich noble I can just be the side person if i was really worried about staying together. boytoys/mistresses are a thing, even a thing that won't necessarily break a nobles home.

So the most fascinating thing about this poll so far is that nobody would want their spouse/lover to be genderbent.

However, lots of people are willing to be genderbent themselves.

Isn't this like a weird contradiction? Isn't the conclusion from this that most couples would each want themselves to be genderbent, but not their partners?

Or perhaps people expect their lovers to continue loving them when they themselves are genderbent, but the opposite direction isn't true; they would struggle to continue loving if their spouse was genderbent.

Does this mean that people value their sexual orientation more than their gender identity?

I rather value the personality than appearance so if someone married me with all my quirks and we were happy I'd rather keep that unique soul as she is because nothing could make her more perfect. So the answer is like " Kill me if you want, but leave her alone "

 

They are going to have to stay the same gender. My future girlfriend or wife would likely want to stay the same gender. Now, if we did get gender-bent, I would love him/her the same way!

 

1. 5x poorer sounds like it could cause death by starvation if we're unlucky, so genderbend it is. For both. For possessive-lover type reasons. Unless my lover was extremely against it. Then I guess I'd volunteer and we'd probably break up in the end :[

2&3. No idea... Even if I had my memories at the beginning, since I would apparently be born again and spend years as a fetus, infant, child... I imagine I would grow up to become someone quite different... so all bets are off...
