Wah so HELPFUL THANK YOU do you suggest anything in soup? Any oil I should refrain from??? Like im planning to use olive oil but its not used much in Chinese food so I dont know its taste ;-;
....its not like i've screwed up chicken soup before or anything. And its not like I still get... questions about what happens when I make macaroni n cheese from a box I make edible and typically somewhat tasty food if its rice or eggs. ...Not rice with eggs tho. I am a good kitchen assistant. I can chop veggies and clean, and my food is usually technically edible- as in, I make myself eat it so I don't repeat the mistakes unless its a very very terrible turnout.
No idea for the soup, my mom always did that. We’ve always used the vegetable canola oil, so im not sure how it would taste with olive oil https://www.google.com/amp/s/dailyc...uan-glutinous-rice-balls-in-chicken-soup.html This is the closest looking soup i can find to what my mom makes.
imagine all the possibilities of nastiness if you cook meat! grilled, seared, fried, baked, etcetc, all the different tastes, how could you possibly not cook it?!!
grilled is very easy too!! just put steak on toast machine, not ones you push bread in, but other ones lol, it cooks on its own
go here https://www.chinasichuanfood.com/ there's most of my recipe come from lolololol as for soup, i never add any oil just salt and sugar, you can add flavor enhancer (MSG) a bit...i only use half teaspoon tbh since there is salt and sugar already oh, you can add chicken bones, for flavoring too...i mean, when you buy raw chicken, there will be bones left, there for you can use that as flavor...the same can be done with shrimp's head...don't need to eat those...just for flavor~~~ for soup, i don't think you can do wrong there's vegetables soup...mostly any vegetables can be added there...common ones carrot and potatoes, with a bit tomatoes (optional, i don't know why my mom like to use tomato, going for the fact i hate them) there's also red beans and peanuts soup (each! not together in one) just add carrots and then the beans, easy peasy also tofu soup, just tofu then you can add, mushrooms, or misua (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misua) or vegetables or a bit meat or chicken
I recently discovered this channel! I don't cook but cooking channels are sooo soothing to watch. Edit: oh wait someone already shared one of her videos earlier!
Wah THANK YOU I WILL DEFINITELY CHECK OUT, its sad that it only seems to be Sichuan but im gonna learn a few before complaining of not finding others lol So soup can be anything that is suitable for filler? Since I plan to go beef, most perfect would be carrot etc, vegetables basically o.o, for chicken I dont like mixing their taste lol, but you gave me great ideas, I realized I can make a direct soup and make it a dumpling soup if I make dumplings a bit smaller o.o YES I SAW HER really liked them too, but so few of them are eng subbed T^T she also uses ingredients I dont know how to find, I was planning to ask substitutes around as I cook hehe
yes... with beef, you can also make soup with tofu and Mustard greens or bok choy good thing about soup is, it doesn't matter how long you cook (low heat)...but the longer the time, the ingredients will be more soft (i like it like this LOLOLOLOL)
