    i wanna talk shit about novel names
    esp those that dont make any grammatical sense

    they piss me off so bad i created a list to hide them from the main page

    you should learn from Ai-chan and make a thread to rename them by adding "shit" to the title.....
    it's remind me of how i renamed "chaotic sword god" as "chaotic shitting god"....

    Now, now, don't let off the jp novels. At least the cn novels keep their titles shorter than a paragraph.

    You see what happened was Japanese apparently don't read the synopsis before buying. Authors got really really tired of people griping about elements they should have known would be in the book before the it even started. So now they just put the synopsis in the title.

    The CN names often discouraged me from reading it.....

    Like this title : i transmigrated into a stunning plaything..... at my screen it cut right at the "into" part and when i opened it and read the full title... it made me lose interest to even read ch.1...... happened several times already with this title....

    In another notes Jpanese WN title also tend to contain synopsis than actual title but iirc it's because syosetu rules about title and synopsis length..... after turned into a LN, they tends to had proper name (sort of).....

    I recently found a new interesting isekai manga 'Okami wa Nemuranai' and you know what it's called in English? The Wolf Won't Sleep!

    I felt instant hate with that name. It makes me think the manga is about a wolf pup that don't want to sleep when it's actually not! There are like couple more better options like 'The Wolf Never Sleep', 'The Sleepless Wolf', 'Woke Wolf', 'The Aware Wolf', 'Wolf Does Not Sleep' but out of all these options it had to be 'The Wolf Won't Sleep'.

    Wolf: I don't want to go to sleep.
    "Why won't you sleep!?"
